Scoring

9 point scoring system.  Each team will receive one point per hole won and a half point per hole tied.

Starting Hole

League schedules are posted under the pairings Tab.  Each team will be assigned an opponent and starting hole every week.  If your starting hole contains an "A" you are the first group off and if it contains a "B" you are the second group off.

Scorecards

All scores will be kept on the Golf Genius App.  A GGID will be sent via text every Tuesday along with your starting hole.

Central Valley Ladies League

• Time frame of letting your opponents know if you will NOT make league – By noon the day of league or forfeit.
• Make–up times – There will be a 2-week deadline for make ups. You may make up your time early if it works for both teams. Both teams need to play together. You are not allowed to play at separate times.
• Subs – We will have a list sent out and posted at the clubhouse. Subs do not have to be GL members, but they do need to pay green fees and cart.
• Pace of play – Play “Ready Golf”: Ready golf is a commonly used term which indicates that players should play when they are ready to do so, rather than adhering strictly to the “farthest from the hole plays first” stipulation in the Rules of Golf. With the number of teams, we have this year. We need to stay on track.

Golf Etiquette ~ Scramble League

• If your partner cannot make it or will be late. You are allowed to start without them or play all 9 holes. You are only allowed to hit the ball 1 time.
• If your opponent’s forfeit, you will receive 3 points for the night.
• Club length – you can take up to a club length from your partner’s ball (No closer to the hole), but you must stay in the same cut of grass. If your partner’s ball is in the sand, you must hit out of the sand. If your partner’s ball is in the rough, you must hit out of the rough.
• Gimmes – Use your discretion and both teams must agree. A gimme is still a stroke.
• Out of bounds and water balls – If you both go OB you go back to where your original shot was. If you both go in the water, you can both hit from where the ball entered the water. OB and Water balls do count as a stroke.
• Whiffs - use your discretion.
•  Announce your team score on the green after the last putt. If you are not sure, go back and count. Each team needs to agree. Clickers or Beads are very helpful.
