Format: Individual Medal

 

18 Hole Entry Fee: £20.00

Handicap: 36 & Below

 

9 Hole Entry Fee: £10.00

Handicap: 28 & Above

 

*Any boy or girl with a handicap between 29 & 36

can play in either the 9 hole or 18 hole events*

Event Information

 

Registration:

Please register for the event at least 45 minutes before your tee time at the registration desk in the clubhouse.

 

Practice facilities:

You will have access to all the practice facilities.

 

First Tee:

Please arrive at the first tee at least 10 minutes before your tee time.

 

Competition Format:

This is an Individual Medal Competition, played off handicap over 18 holes or nine holes. Your handicap for this competition will be your WHS handicap.

 

18-hole Competition:

The competition is strokeplay, with prizes for the leading boys and girls gross and net scores.

 

Nine-hole Competition:

The competition is strokeplay, with prizes for the leading boys and girls net scores.

 

Competition Tees:

Each Golf Club has a variety of tees to play from, so a decision on which tees to use will be made on the day.

Spectators:

Caddying is not allowed, but adults, family members, friends and supervised youngsters are welcome to walk around to watch the golf.

Photographs and video footage:

We may take photographs and take video footage, to be made available for players to purchase or placed on social media. All GDPR rules will be followed at all times.

 

Speed of play - Ready Golf:

Players need to keep up with the group in front - not ahead of the group behind.

 

Weather:

We are in constant dialogue with the course, and will keep you informed if the event needs to be postponed.

 

Scorers Room:

After your round, all players in each group will need to go straight to the results desk to check, sign and hand in your scorecards.

 

Prize Presentation:

Prizes will be given out afterwards to the leading players in each division.

Festival of Golf:

The leading players in the Spring Masters Order of Merit will be invited to play in the Spring 'Festival of Golf'.
The prize winners will also receive a guaranteed invite to the end-of-season Grand Final.

 

 

Champion of Champions

 

Progress Junior Golf’s Spring Masters is an official qualifier for the prestigious Champion of Champions at the magnificent Lough Erne GC, Northern Ireland.

 

The leading players, who meet the qualifying criteria set out by the Champion of Champions organising committee, will receive invites to play in the international event the following year.
