IMPORTANT: Participants must first register in the MSGA TOURNAMENT DIRECTORY to play in any MSGA event. This is a one-time registration. If you have registered before, simply sign in when registering for the event.

REGISTRATION
Registration Opens: March 15th at 9:00 am
Registration Closes: May 27th at 11:00 pm
Event registration fee is $130, which includes StrackaLine Yardage Book.
Cart fee is $22 per day, to be paid at the club.
Optional Add-ons: Qualifying Round Skins Game $15 and Deuce Pot $15

Deuce Pot and Skins
Skins are within Divisions
GROSS Skins game for each round. $10 towards skins within your Championship Division. $5 will go towards the Trip of the Month Raffle ticket drawing. For every 40 skins and deuces registration we will give away a Trip of the Month Raffle ticket for the 2026-2027 raffle.
Men's Qualifying Round Skins = $15
Senior Qualifying Round Skins = $15
Women's Qualifying Round Skins = $15
Deuces- $15 for the qualifying round. Deuces will be for the field. $10 towards Deuces. $5 will go towards the Trip of the Month Raffle drawing. For every 40 skins and deuces registrations we will give away a Trip of the Month Raffle ticket for the 2026-27 raffle.
Skins and Deuces will be paid in credit at the Bill Roberts GC Golf Shop.

Your entry will be confirmed by email. Unless you have an entry confirmation, you are not officially entered in the tournament. No entries will be accepted at the host facility. A list of confirmed players will be posted on the Player Information > Players page.
Eligibility
You must be a legal resident of Montana and and a current member of the Montana State Golf Association. Contestants without an MSGA Member Number (GHIN®#) will not be accepted. To renew online, click here.
Your application will serve as your testament of Montana citizenship.
Entries are open to amateur male and female players.
Men's Open: Maximum Handicap Index® of 10.0; No age requirement.
Men's Senior: Maximum Handicap Index® of 15.0; Must be at least 55 yrs old by 6/4/26.
Women's Open: No Handicap requirement; No age requirement.

Tournament Format
No handicaps will be used in this event. You must meet the required minimum Handicap Index® at the time of registration.
18 hole Qualifier for Men’s Open, Senior, & Women’s Open Divisions. Men’s Open will be cut to a 32 player bracket, with round of 32 beginning play on Thursday afternoon. Men’s Senior and Women’s Open will be cut to a 16 player bracket beginning play on Friday morning.
Men's Open will use Black tees, Men's Senior & Women will use White tees.
Field Size
Men’s Open - 52; Men’s Senior - 32; Women’s Open - 24
Note: If a Division is filled, a waiting list will be formed. Field sizes will be held until May 19th. If a total of 112 players has not been reached, waitlisted players will be added to their respective Divisions. You will be notified by email if you are moved off of the waitlist. If you don't receive an email, check your spam folder or the confirmed players on the Player Information > Players page.
Qualifying Round Pairings
Qualifying round pairings will be emailed and posted to this page by June 1st.
Thursday: 9:00am shotgun start with afternoon tee times starting approximately from 2:30pm to 3:30 pm
Friday: Tee Times will be from 8:06am to 10:03am and from 1:30pm to 2:30pm
Saturday: Tee Times will be from 8:06am to 8:33am with the final matches from 1:30pm to 1:48pm

Practice Round
Player is responsible for cost of practice round, cart, and range balls. Players may make a tee time for a practice round 7 days in advance from the start of the event. Green fees for the practice round will be $45.00 for 18 holes ($40.00 for seniors).
Tournament Check In
The MSGA will be on-site at Bill Roberts GC for player check-in on June 3rd, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You may also check in prior to your Round 1 tee time.
Regulations, Personal Appearance
Distance measuring devices are permitted per USGA Local Rule (Decision 14-3/0.5). No metal or ceramic spikes permitted - soft spikes will be mandatory. Players are required to wear proper golf attire.
Rules of Competition
The USGA Rules of Golf will govern play. The MSGA Tournament Committee, whose decision will be final, will settle questions. The competition will be deemed closed when the winners’ awards have been presented. A complete Rules sheet will be posted and emailed to players the week before the tournament.

Refund Policy
If you cancel your registration, or if your entry is rejected for not meeting the qualifications, you will be notified by email and a refund will be issued to your credit card, less a $10 service charge, if prior to the close of registration. Cancellations made after the close of registration, but prior to pairings being posted to this portal, are eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fee. Cancellations made after pairings are posted to this portal are not eligible for a refund of the registration fee. Add-on purchases (i.e. carts, skins, deuces) will be refunded, if before the start of the event.
