Senior Open Championship Qualifying

Qualifying Tournaments will not be needed.

All players who registered will be promoted to the Championship on May 11-12 at The Club at Nevillewood.

Entries Open:  February 9, 2026

 

Entries Close: April 1, 2026

 

Registration Fee: $230 per amateur and $280 per professional (includes cart/range fee for the Qualifier)

 

Format: 18-hole individual gross stroke play

 

Eligibility: Open to any male amateur 50 years of age and older who are members of a PAGA Member Club or an Individual Member of the PAGA and professionals 50 years of age and older residing in Pennsylvania. Amateurs need to have a USGA Handicap Index of 7.4 or lower. Residency NOT a requirement for professionals who are employed at a PAGA Member Club. Field: Limited to 120 entries at this qualifying site, accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is required for this event. The fee of $35 per person per day is included with your entry fee and includes range balls.

 

Food & Beverage: The halfway house will be open for all F&B purchases.  

 

Practice Rounds: TBD

 

Pairings: Play will be in threesomes at 10-minute intervals. 

 

Start Times: The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry form, will determine pairings and tee times. If size of field warrants, 1st & 10th tee, a.m. & p.m. starting times.

 

Ties: The low TBD players and ties will gain entrance into the Championship. There will be no playoff for qualifying positions or alternates
