Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose who I play with?

  • On Day One you are able to choose the names of people you want to play if provided by Tuesday, 29Sep2026.
  • On Day Two we will have a new format being a mixer so all golfers have time to eat lunch prior to the start of our Optional Scramble.  Pairings will be randomly created using Golf Genius to create pairings that have an approximately the same GHIN.
  • Day Three pairings will be by Tournament Standings

How were handicaps and flights determined?

  • Handicaps will be determined on Tuesday, 29Sep2026 to allow for set up of the tournament.  Most golfers had active GHINs and those that did not were individually reviewed by the Tournament Board of Directors for fairness.
  • Flights will be determined by Handicap Index on Tuesday, 29Sep2026.  We did not use Handicaps due to our event being on three different courses with multiple tees.

What are the different side games?

KP: Closest to the pin.  The closest first shot from the tee on par 3's win.  Six opportunities to win.  Estimated award will be $30 per KP.  Awards split into three handicap flights:

  • 0 to 12
  • 13 to 20
  • 21+

Skins:  Best score on an individual hole.

  • Skins is NOT a flighted competition
  • Men’s and Women’s division
  • Both GROSS and NET Skins Competition were on registration form and will be available at Check In
  • Awards are based on the number of competitors

Honey Pot:

  • Available on registration
  • Honey Pot is a Net Tournament paying five places each day at 30, 25, 20, 15, 10% payout
  • Tiebreaker will be determined using USGA recommended (last 9, 6, 3, 1 holes)
  • Honey Pot entry is $10 per day for total of $30
