La sélection des participants s’est faite avec un calcul de différentiel où nous avons rassemblé le résultat des joueurs qui ont respecté le pointage requis dans toutes les qualifications du Québec et nous avons sélectionné les meilleurs différentiels au tableau.
*** Le différentiel est un calcul entre le pointage brut et l’évaluation du parcours d’où la ronde a été jouée. (Ex: le joueur a joué 80 sur un parcours évalué à 69,3 avec une évaluation Slope de 117, ceci lui donnerait un différentiel de 10,7).
Pointage à respecter:
- 90 et moins pour les garçons juniors
- 85 et moins pour les garçons bantams
La coupure pour les garçons junior s'est faite à un différentiel de 11.3.
Le système de départage du différentiel a été fait par l'index d’handicap en date du 26 juin 2026.
*En cas d'égalité entre les index d'handicap de joueurs présentant le même différentiel, nous utiliserons le pointage obtenu par chaque joueur lors des qualifications régionales pour déterminer leur position.
Si nous recevons des annulations, nous accepterons automatiquement les joueurs sur la liste d’attente sans attendre de confirmation de votre part. Donc, si vous désirez être retiré de la liste d’attente et de la compétition, vous devez nous le faire savoir.
The selection of participants is based on a differential calculation in which we gather the results of players who have achieved the required score in all Quebec qualifiers and select the best differentials from the table.
***The differential is a calculation between the gross score and the course evaluation where the round was played. (Ex: if a player plays 80 on a course that has a rating of 69.3 and a slope of 117, this would give a differential of 10.3).
Scores to be respected :
- 90 and under for junior boys
- 85 and under for bantam boys
The cut-off for junior boys was a differential of 11.3.
The tiebreaker system for the handicap differential was based on the handicap index as of June 26, 2026.
*If there is a tie between the handicap indexes of players with the same handicap differential, we will use each player’s score from the regional qualifier as the tiebreaker.
If we receive any cancellations, we will automatically accept the players on the waiting list without waiting for confirmation from you. So if you wish to be withdrawn from the waiting list and the competition, please let us know
