SCORE-RECORDING

Registration for all competitions will take place at the Welcome Desk in the BAR on the upper floor of the Clubhouse.

Please return your score card to record your match result 

Copies of the England Golf ‘Hard Card’ will be available on the website for your information. Any additional local rules will be notified on the day.

BUGGIES

Please be advised that buggies are not permitted during the Championship, unless prior authorisation has been granted by England Golf North representative, in accordance with the Transportation Policy. Buggies will be in very limited supply. Please refer to E.G. General Condition section

 

PRACTICE FACILITIES

A practice round can be arranged by telephoning the Office Manager on 01423 862690 to arrange a suitable time – Knaresborough Golf Club has kindly offered a reduced green fee of £20 BUT you must produce of a copy of your confirmation email. There is a practice ground, together with some practice nets and putting green.   Range balls cannot be supplied and therefore you must use your own balls and be responsible for collecting them.

 

PACE OF PLAY 

In stroke play competitions, to avoid slow play, England Golf actively encourage players to play when they are ready, provided it is safe to play. “Ready Golf” is a commonly used term, which indicates that players should play when they are ready to do so, rather than adhering strictly to the “farthest from the hole plays first”. 

 

DRESS RULES

A copy of the dress rules can be found on the Knaresborough Golf Club website, usual golfing attire to be worn at all times.

It is recommended that the internet is used for accommodation, Booking.com is very useful

 

CATERING FACILITIES

Catering facilities will be open from 8 am available until 4pm.  Pre-ordering of sandwiches/bar meals for competitors can be done upon registration if required, particularly for Matchplay competitors. 

 

MOBILE PHONES

Must be set to silent all times on the course.

 

PRESENTATION

The presentation for the Challenge Cup, Stableford and Team event prizes will be held on Thursday 18^th April as soon as possible after the Match Play Final at approx. 6.00pm.  A list of the final results will be posted on the YLCGA website YLCGA.COM

 

ALL DISPUTES SHALL BE REFERRED TO THE YLCGA SUB-COMMITTEE WHO’S DECISION IS FINAL
