HANDICAP:

As is tradition, we will use each player's low handicap index from the past 20 rounds/12 months.. We then calculate each person's course handicap off of Grayhawk's Raptor Course (we will apply the same number for both Raptor and Talon for simplicity and equality across both waves), take 50%, and adjust everyone off the lowest handicap in the field playing off 0 (the lowest index is +6.6 adjusted to +4 after 50% is applied, so each each player is getting 4 strokes added to their adjusted handicap). That number will be the number of strokes you get on both Tuesday and Wednesday. 

 

 

FORMAT:

• 36 holes of net four ball, 50% handicap , cumulative scoring on Grayhawk’s Raptor and Talon courses — Tuesday and Wednesday

• Shootout: The top-4 teams and ties will then compete Wednesday afternoon in a 2-hole shootout on Raptor’s 10th & 18th holes in gross alternate shot

  • The entire championship is cumulative scoring (ie: if a team has a 2-stroke lead after 36 holes, they will begin the shootout with a 2-stroke lead)

  • If tied, the tied teams will continue playing gross alternate shot on the 10th and 18th holes in sudden death until we have a winner

 

SPECTATORS:

There will be a check in table at all events to distribute wristbands for those who have purchased tickets to be a spectator.  All spectators will have to walk the course; no carts will be provided (unless a medical waiver is provided).   Please be sure those friends and family members know to check in because without a wristband or a signed waiver, they won’t be able to partake in the food or the fun!

 

**Spectators are not allowed to relay information pertinent to golf (course conditions, reads, wind, etc.).**

 

SKINS:

If you would like to participate in a skins game, the entry fee is $20 per person. Cash Only. Please bring exact change.  We will not accept bills higher than $20. There will be winners on each course each day. Skins winners will be contacted after all scorecards have been collected.

 

CONTEST HOLES: 

We will be hosting various contests and promotions throughout the tournament. After the 2 rounds of golf, there will be one winner for each contest. 

 

Truly Single Swing (Tuesday Post Golf): Tee of hole 10 on the Raptor course. Participants will have one shot to get it as close to the pin, on the tee of hole 18, as they can. The winner of this receives a year long supply of Truly Unruly (in the amount of $500) and a set of TaylorMade MG4 or Hi-Toe wedges. 

 

EZGO Hole in One: Contest will take place on hole #8 of the Raptor Course. If a hole in one is made, the prize is an E-Z-GO Freedom RXV.

 

TaylorMade Long Drive: Contest will take place on hole #4 of the Raptor course. Winner will receive a TaylorMade driver of their choosing.

 

BODYARMOR Zero Sugar Closest to the Pin: Contest will take place on hole #16 of the Raptor course. Winner to receive a year supply of BODYARMOR.

Peter Millar & G/FORE: The winning pair of the ‘Outfit of the Championship’ will receive $100 to the Grayhawk pro-shop towards any Peter Millar or G/FORE purchase.

WINNING PAIR: The winning team of the Barstool Classic will receive:
