REGISTRATION
Registration Opens: March 15th at 9:00 am
Registration Closes: June 29th at 11:00 pm
Event registration fee is $260, which includes 3 rounds of tournament play, tee prize, tournament prizes, StrackaLine Yardage Book, and lunch credit at Cottonwood Hills Golf Club.
Cart fee is $75 (1 seat, 3 days). Please note: Cart seats are NOT available for caddies or guests.

Your entry will be confirmed by email. Unless you have an entry confirmation, you are not officially entered in the tournament. No entries will be accepted at the host facility. A list of confirmed players will be posted on the Player Information > Players page.
Eligibility
You must be a legal resident of Montana or currently enrolled as a full time college student in Montana. You must be a current member of the Montana State Golf Association. Contestants without an MSGA Member Number (GHIN®#) will not be accepted. To renew online, click here.
Your online application will serve as your testament of Montana citizenship.
Entries are open to amateur female players.
Women's Amateur: Maximum Handicap Index® of 24.0. No age requirement.
Master 40: Maximum Handicap Index® of 36.0. Must be at least 40 yrs old by 7/7/26.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
March 15th - Registration opens.
June 23rd - Reserved space of 48 player per Division is lifted. Waitlisted players will be added, if overall field size is not met.
June 29th - Registration closes. Last day to withdraw for fullest refund.
July 1st - Round 1 Tee Times will be posted and emailed to players.
July 6th - Player check-in will be open at Cottonwood Hills Golf Club 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
July 7th - Round 1 begins, 7:30 am -9:30 am Tee Times from the 1st & 10th tee.
July 8th - Round 2 begins, 7:30 am - 9:30 am Tee Times from the 1st & 10th tee.
July 9th - Round 3 begins, 7:30 am - 9:30 am Tee Times from the 1st & 10th tee.

Tournament Format
Stroke Play. Players will be flighted by Handicap Index®; 54-hole tournament played at Scratch.
Handicap revision cutoff is June 30th.
Yardage ranges by division: State Am - 5900-6100 yds, Master 40 - 5400-5600 yds.
Field Size
State Am - 48; Master 40 - 48
Note: If a Division is filled, a waiting list will be formed. Field sizes will be held until June 23rd. If a total of 96 players has not been reached, waitlisted players will be added to their respective Divisions. You will be notified by email if you are moved off of the waitlist. If you don't receive an email, check your spam folder or the confirmed players on the Player Information > Players page.
Tournament within Women's State Amateur
Carla Berg Trophy - Low junior, 54 holes, lowest gross score, includes all 18 & under.
Tee Times
Tee times will be emailed and posted to this page by July 1st.
Practice Round
Player is responsible for cost of practice round, cart, and range balls, available for a nominal fee. Please watch for player emails regarding final cost of practice round and available times for your practice round.
Tournament Check In
The MSGA will be on-site at Cottonwood Hills GC for player check-in on July 6th, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You may also check in prior to your Round 1 tee time.
No club storage will be provided.
Regulations, Personal Appearance
Distance measuring devices are permitted per USGA Local Rule (Decision 14-3/0.5). No metal or ceramic spikes permitted - soft spikes will be mandatory. Players are required to wear proper golf attire.
Rules of Competition
The USGA Rules of Golf will govern play. The MSGA Tournament Committee, whose decision will be final, will settle questions. The competition will be deemed closed when the winners’ awards have been presented. A complete Rules sheet will be posted and emailed to players the week before the tournament.
Caddies
Caddies are allowed. Caddies will be asked to wear a caddie bib during the round. Bibs will be provided at the first tee and must be returned following the round. Cart seats are not available for caddies.

Refund Policy
If you cancel your registration, or if your entry is rejected for not meeting the qualifications, you will be notified by email and a refund will be issued to your credit card, less a $10 service charge, if prior to the close of registration. Cancellations made after the close of registration, but prior to pairings being posted to this portal, are eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fee. Cancellations made after pairings are posted to this portal are not eligible for a refund of the registration fee. Add-on purchases (i.e. carts) will be refunded, if before the start of the event.
