Welcome to the 2026 Golfplay Winter Ladies League – Kitchener & Waterloo

14-week league starting the week of January 12, 2026 and ending the week of April 13, 2026

 

Registration Fee

 

Total Cost Per Player - $420 + HST = $474.60
Total Cost Per Foursome: $1,680 plus HST = $1,898.40

  • Weekly bay time

  • League administration

  • All weekly and end-of-season prizes

  • Registration is by foursome – please appoint one player to register your group.

  • Singles, twosomes, and threesomes can email us at joan.harris@golfplay.ca, and we will do our best to pair you with others.

 

Weekly Play

 

  • Each group can choose their weekly day and tee time.

  • Two-hour tee-time slots allow your foursome to complete 9 holes each week.

 

Ladies League Days & Times:

 

  • Monday (Waterloo) & Tuesday (Kitchener)

  • Tee times: 4:30, 5:00, 6:30, 7:00, 8:30, 9:00

 

Note: Day and tee time selections are first-come, first-paid and will remain fixed for the entire 14-week season.

 

You can view available tee times before registering — or confirm that you’ve selected the correct day and time after registering — by clicking the “Open Tee Times Registration” tab located above under “Tee Sheets.”

 

Format

  • 9 holes, individual score format

  • Players will be placed into flights in Week #1 based on their Golfzon or Golf Canada handicaps.

  • Number of flights will be determined based on registration numbers.

 

Weekly Prizes:

 

  • Top Gross Score

  • Top Net Score

  • Closest to the Pin

  • Longest Putt

  • Weekly Draw: Double-Par Nachos Platter!

 

Courses:

  • 9-hole rounds played on a different course each week, chosen from over 200+ available.

 

Optional Gross Skins:

 

  • $5 per week (cash only)

  • No handicaps will be used

Points System

 

  • Yearly point totals are established by weekly rankings within each flight.

  • Net scores are calculated using 80% of the League Handicap, adjusted for 9 holes.

 

Weekly Net Points (top 25):

 

  • 1st – 25 points, 2nd – 24 points, 3rd – 23 points, and so on

 

Weekly Gross Points (top 15):

 

  • 1st – 15 points, 2nd – 14 points, 3rd – 13 points, and so on

 

Playoffs (Weeks 12 & 13):

 

  • Points Double

  • Playoff Net Points: 1st – 50, 2nd – 48, 3rd – 46, etc.

  • Playoff Gross Points: 1st – 30, 2nd – 24, 3rd – 22, etc.

 

League Champions:

 

  • Fall League Champions will be crowned in each flight after the last week.

  • Grand prizes awarded to the top three winners of each flight.

  • Week #1 – Four-Person 9-Hole Scramble

  • Week #8 – Four-Person 9-Hole Scramble

  • Week #14 – Four-Person 9-Hole Scramble
