Entry fee: £75 per person

Payment: This event has a handicap ballot. Card payment information will be collected and authorised at the time of registration, but your card will not be charged until players are successful in the ballot and confirmed in our system. This will usually be within the first few days following the entry deadline. Please update your card details in your Golf Genius account if they change between entry and this time. 

SUMMARY

The Championship shall be open to female amateur golfers of all nationalities who meet the entry conditions available below.

Entry Qualifications

a) The Championship shall be open to competitors who are female or non-binary whose sex assigned at birth was female, of any nationality.

b) Competitors must be of amateur status as defined by R&A Rules Limited

c) Entries will only be accepted from players with an official female assigned WHS Handicap Index of 6.0 or less held at an affiliated club to their National Union, or overseas equivalent.

d) Entrants holding both a United Kingdom WHS Handicap Index and an overseas equivalent must use their United Kingdom handicap information when entering.

e) Failure to enter in accordance with this condition will result in entry being denied.

f) All queries around transgender eligibility are to be directed towards competitions@walesgolf.org

It shall be played over 54 holes. 18 holes on day one and day two with the top 60 and ties playing 18 holes on day three. 

i) Should there be less than 70 competitors the cut will be altered to 50% of the field size, plus ties, at the discretion of the Championship Committee. This will subsequently be communicated with all competitors at entries close when the field size is confirmed (e.g. a field of 60 will move the cut to Top 30 plus ties).

The Winner shall be the competitor who returns the lowest score over the 54 holes. In the event of a tie, there will be a hole by hole play-off over holes to be decided by the Championship Committee.

A maximum of 144 competitors shall play in the Championship, held at Aberdovey Golf Club.
