VOLUNTEER POLICIES

 

SMOKING, ALCOHOL & DRUG POLICY

• Smoking is prohibited inside all buildings and within the Volunteer Headquarters. Do not smoke while operating equipment or vehicles.
• Volunteers may not consume alcohol while on duty, nor drink in uniform in public areas - even when off duty.
• Alcohol and drugs are not permitted on the grounds. Anyone appearing intoxicated or under the influence will be asked to leave.

 

MOBILE DEVICE POLICY

• Mobile devices are permitted, but please adhere to the following:
  • Keep devices on silent at all times.
  • No audio or video recording at any time.
  • No photography during competition rounds.
  • No device use when players are competing.
  • Breach of this policy may result in removal from the venue or confiscation of the device.

 

AUTOGRAPH POLICY

• During official competition rounds, volunteers and spectators must not ask players for autographs until play has finished or been suspended.
• Volunteers must never request autographs while on duty.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS & CONDUCT

• The following are not allowed during the Tournament:
  • Radios, televisions, signs, banners.
  • Firearms or weapons of any kind.
• All bags and items are subject to search. Unauthorised items must be returned to your car.
