Format
36 Holes Stroke Play. Top 16 make it through to the Championship Matchplay knockouts, those that lose in the first round of the matchplay will go into the Valentine Plate
Tee Times
Tee times for the strokeplay rounds are published via email and online here.
Tee times for matchplay stages will be provided after subsequent rounds.
Parental Consent Forms
Any player who is under the age of 18 on day one of the Championship must complete an Online Parental Consent Form. Failure to do so may result in the player being withdrawn from the Championship

Players withdrawing should email competitions@walesgolf.org
Practice Round
July 27th, book online here. Please note that the practice round is taking place after Round 1 of the Welsh Men’s Amateur Championship.
Practice Facilities
On site there is putting green by the clubhouse and chipping green located between the 10th Green and 11th Tee.
There are two practice areas; a full range located between the 7th and 10th Holes and a short game/pitching area located by the car park. Range balls available from the pro-shop at player's own expense.
Caddies & Spectators
Caddies and spectators are allowed.
Catering
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. At player’s own expense.
Clubhouse & Pro Shop
Open 1 hour prior to the start of each day’s play

On-course Championship Information and Scoring
This event will be acting as a trial for a paperless event, mobile phones will be required by each participant and everything will be done electronically. More information on this will be provided on the day by the starter.
