Senior Championship

 

Women's South Carolina Golf Association

 

May 18 and 19, 2026

 

 

 

ELIGIBILITY:

 

  • Any female amateur golfer who has reached her 50th birthday by the first day of the championship, is a permanent legal resident of South Carolina for a minimum of six months prior to the championship, is a member of a club which is a regular or affiliate member of the WSCGA, and has a current handicap index issued by the Handicap Program of the Carolinas (GHIN). Also eligible, is an individual who holds an E-club membership.

ENTRIES:

 

  • All entries will open on April 6th and all entries must be filed online and received by 5:00 p.m. on May 4th, 2026. 
  • Notice of acceptance or non-acceptance of entries will be e-mailed after the entry deadline.
    • Entries will be accepted based on handicap index from low to high.
  • Entry fee of $195 per player includes golf, tournament cart fees, range balls, lunch, and tips for bag drop.  
  • Any refunds will be charged the 7% processing fee if cancelled 7-14 prior to event and No Refund if cancelled 0-7 days prior to event. 
  • Field Limit: 100 Players

 

 

FORMAT:

 

  • USGA Rules apply. Local Rules will be distributed at the tournament site. 
  • The Championship is contested at 36 holes of stroke play with a
    • Championship Division (ages 50-64)
    • Legends division (ages 65+). Players that are age 65 and over may opt to play in the Championship Division but will waive any right to prizes in the Legends division. Players must ride.

 

 

RESTRICTIONS:

 

  • No Caddies.
  • Players must wear appropriate golf attire.
    • No cut-off shorts or denim, no shorts shorter than four inches above the knee, no tank tops, all shirts must have either a collar or sleeves. Metal golf shoe spikes are prohibited. 
  • Personal coolers are prohibited.
