Tournament Policies
Eligibility Criteria
The field for WNYPGA Match Play Championship shall be selected as follows: Defending Champion,
plus top 15 eligible WNYPGA Professionals based on current Player of the Year Point standings on the
date invitations are sent. In the event of ties in points, seeds shall, in order, be determined by (a) best
finish in a current year individual event, (b) current year stroke average, (c) current year money earnings,
(d) draw of straws. In the event the field is not filled as of 5:00 p.m. four days prior to the first-round matches, open spots shall be filled with byes.
Cancellation Policy
Players have 5 days (120 hours) prior to the event to cancel without penalty. Players who cancel after the deadline forfeit their entry fee and may be subject to additional fine.
