Other Information for Scramble

Your handicap will determine your tee box.

If there are more than nine teams, flights will be determined by combined handicap.

All teams must tee off before 1pm.

Play will be mixed with public play.

Payouts will go to 30% of the field.

Tee Assignments

Men’s Tees

(The Rule of 85 allows you to move up one tee box from where your handicap places you.)

Brown: Handicap 4 or below

Combo (New Tee Set): Handicap 5 to 10

Orange: Handicap 11 to 18

Hybrid: Handicap 19 to 23

Green: Handicap 24 and above

Ladies’ Tees

(The Rule of 80 allows you to move up one tee box from where your handicap places you.)

Orange: Handicap 4 or below

Hybrid: Handicap 5 to 11

Green: Handicap 12 to 18

Blue: Handicap 18 and above

Four-Person Scramble

  • Team Composition: 4 players per team.

  • Can be mixed teams

How It’s Played

  1. Everyone Tees Off
    Each player hits a tee shot from the designated tee box.

  2. Choose the Best Shot
    The team decides which of the four shots is best. Everyone picks up their balls and moves to that spot.

  3. All Hit Again from the Best Spot
    All four players hit their next shot from that chosen location. You repeat this process until the ball is holed.

    • Placement Rules: Place your ball within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the selected shot, staying in the same type of lie (rough stays in rough, sand stays in sand, etc.).

  4. Repeat Until the Ball is Holed
    Keep choosing the best shot and hitting from there until the team gets the ball in the hole.

 

Tee Times

  • Call the golf shop to make your tee time.
  • 8am to 9:30 and 11:30 to 1 are the tournament tee times
  • We will only take tee times in these blocks

  • Public Green Fee & Cart Fee: $70
  • Entry Fee per Player: $45
