Kings of the Meadows

 

The format of play for this event is Four-Ball. This is one of golf’s most popular competitive formats at the club level and at the professional level. With a rich history dating back to 1908, and adding in the team dynamic, this event is a must play for all competitive golfers.  The winning team will move on to represent Harrison Meadows Country Club in the 2026 MGA/MetLife Doubles Championship.  

 

Registration: There will be no qualifier, and teams will be seeded at random. The first 16 teams to register will make up the field. 
Alternates: Teams may include an additional player who will serve as an alternate in the event a team member is unable to play.

Date: Round 1 may begin on Saturday, April 18th and must be completed by Saturday, May 2nd. (Registration closes on Saturday, April 11th)  

Tournament Format: Best ball of 2/Four-Ball. A single elimination match play tournament with teams consisting of 2 players. Competitors must have a verifiable active handicap. Low Handicap Index from the last 12 months. If you do not have a Low H.I. over the past 12 months, you will play to a scratch.  

 

Tournament Obligations  
Round 1: The start date is Saturday, April 18, with completion required by Saturday, May 2.
Round 2: Must be completed by Saturday, May 16th  
Round 3: Must be completed by Sunday, May 31st 
Final Round: Must be completed by Sunday, June 14th  
Teams that cannot commit to completing matches in the required time should not register for this tournament.  

We appreciate your commitment to the event in order to have the tournament completed by Sunday, June 14th. Based on previous years, extending the tournament into July will only delay crowning the winners in an appropriate time.   

Entry Fee: $200 per team 
Entry fee includes golf for round 1, awards for winning teams and entry into the 2026 MGA/MetLife Doubles Championship.
