Men’s Spring Masters Tournament

The tournament will be open to the first 120 Men’s division members that sign up. You can register up to four players.  The cost of this year’s event will be $90 per player. Your entry will include, Roast Beef Dinner, individual deuce/eagle pot, gross and net skins and tournament prizes.

NOTE: Entries will be accepted from all categories of Membership. However, those playing outside of their category restrictions will be subject to a green fee, in addition to the $ entry fee.

The format for the event will be a “Two Best Net Ball ” 85% handicaps. After all entries are collected, the Pro Shop team will make up all foursomes. We will balance the team handicaps the best we can to create an equal playing field.  To help welcome our new members the Pro Shop will also attempt to team up new members with more experienced members.

Each team will be drawn with a PGA player from the Masters who has made the cut and is in the top 30 on the leaderboard.

SCORING: In order to allow enough time for preparation, all handicaps will be frozen at 10:00am on Wednesday, April 8th. One person from each team will be deemed the scorekeeper. Each team will be supplied with a scorecard that will have all handicaps stroke allocations marked on it. The scorekeeper will be charged with supplying gross scores for each player on the team. Our Golf Genius scoring software will be used to determine the best net score on each hole.

For all scores that will be considered for the best net score, deuces or for a gross or net skin, must be completed with that ball being HOLED OUT. No GIMMES allowed.

All play will commence from a BLUE unless you qualify for the 82/92 factor.

If you are out of a hole and decide to pick up your ball, then you should use an estimated likely score up to double bogey plus handicap for score entry purposes.
