JOHNNY ADAMS MIXED TEAM REGISTRATION

Eligibility/Field: 

  • Open to any 2-person 'Mixed Team' (one male / one female): 
    • Players of any age, residence, pro, or amateur are welcome!
  • Entry deadline is Saturday, October 31st at 5PM (unless field is full prior to this date)
  • Once registered, you will be notified via e-mail whether your team is confirmed or on the waitlist

 

ENTRY FEE/REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS: 

  • $250/Team - Includes tournament green fees, riding carts, meal Saturday, range balls before play, tee gift, and prizes
  • Entry Fee must be paid in full on the City's Webtrac Payment Portal within 48 hours of registration to be guaranteed a place in the field
  • To Register:
    • Complete all required fields and submit your team on Golf Genius (you will receive a confirmation e-mail immediately with payment instructions)
      • $250 Team Payment should be made by ONE PLAYER ONLY, UNDER ONE HOUSEHOLD ONLY in Rectrac.
      • Payment link will be included in your confirmation e-mail from Golf Genius.
    • To complete payment, log in to City of Charleston's Webtrac/Rectrac by using the link in your confirmation e-mail.
      • If webtrac login assistance is needed, E-MAIL US to request a link to reset login credentials.
    • Confirmation E-mail instructions request payment within 48 hours of registration.  Failure to acknowledge this deadline will result in removal of your team's entry.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY:
    • Cancellations can be done through the Golf Genius portal prior to the Registration Deadline ONLY.
    • Cancellation requests after the Registration Deadline will require a $50 Cancellation Fee.
    • Any cancellations after tee times are posted (Wednesday, November 11, 2026) will not be refunded.

 

FORMAT/RULES:

  • 36-Hole Team Competition - Chapman Scotch Format:
    • Both players hit their drives; players will then hit their partners' second shot.  The team will choose hte best ball from that point and continue to rotate until the ball is holed.
  • Field will be flighted within each division for Sunday's round.  Flights will be determined by Saturday's total team score
  • USGA legal distance measuring devices are approved for tournament rounds
  • Caddies are permitted for tournament rounds, but carts will be limited to one per team
  • Cart Fees are included in your tournament entry.
  • All participants are expected to adhere to the Player Conduct Policy that can be found in the event portal.  Violations will be handled as described in the policy.

 

DIVISIONS:  Dependent on male player's age only

  • Overall Division:  Male player under 60 years of age and Female player of any age
  • Senior Division:  Male player age 60 years or older and Female player of any age

 

TEES:

  • White Tees:  Males under Age 60
  • Gold Tees:  Males age 60+ and Females under Age 50
  • Red Tees:  Females age 50+

 

TEE TIMES/SCORING/RESULTS:

  • Saturday (Round 1) tee times will be posted by Wednesday, November 11th at 5PM on Golf Genius
  • Sunday (Round 2) tee times will be posted within 2 hours of conclusion of Round 1 on Golf Genius
  • All teams will be asked to record hole-by-hole scores at the completion of each hole using the Golf Genius app (information to access scoring will be provided at check-in)
  • All tee times, live scoring, and results will be available at Golfgenius.com or in the Golf Genius app using GGID:  ADAMS26
