What is the Fiji Golf Invitational?

  • A premium golf tournament for men and women amateur golfers 20+, hosted over 7 nights staying at the Fiji Marriott Momi Bay Resort and Sheraton Fiji Resort. The tournament is played over 5 rounds of golf in carts - 3 rounds at the Natadola Bay Course and 2 rounds at the Denarau Course. Golfers enter as pairs (of any combination) or we can find you a partner. The competition format is scored using the PaR nz Points system where handicaps change daily. An extensive social programme is included along with Welcome Functions, Kava Ceremonies, Cocktail Parties and a Prize Giving Dinner.
  • The Fiji Golf Invitational is a new look tournament for 2026 combining the long established Denarau Womens Golf Classic and Villa Teams Challenge both owned and hosted by PaR nz Golfing Holidays.

  • In 2026, PaR nz Golfing Holidays will celebrate 26 years in the golf travel and golf event business - the company was established in August 2000. Directors Denise Langdon and Kim Buckley are both avid golfers - members of Windross Farm GC in Auckland.
  • PaR nz is New Zealand's most awarded golf tour operator having won 14 international World Golf Awards from 2016 - 2025.
  • PaR nz is a long standing and active member of IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators) and won an international IAGTO Outstanding Service Award in 2021.

  • 5-Star Fiji Marriott Momi Bay Resort for the first 4 nights of the tournament. Pre-tournament stays are available. Room options include Lagoon View, Lagoon Front and Duplex Bure. Breakfast daily is included.
  • 5-star Sheraton Fiji Resort is where our golfers will transfer to for the final 3 nights of the tournament week. Room options include Garden View, Ocean View and Ocean Front. Breakfast daily is included.

  • Yes, Nadi Airport transfers are included in your package - the arrival destination is the Fiji Marriott Momi Bay Resort and departure destination Sheraton Fiji Resort.

Do I need a car?

  • No, all airport, golf and hotel transfers are included in your package.

What's the golf competition?

  • The Fiji Golf Invitational is a pairs tournament - the pair can be any combination of male and / or female. Yes singles can enter and we can find you a partner.
  • The tournament is held over 5 rounds of golf - 3 rounds at Natadola and 2 rounds at Denarau.
  • The competition format is scored using the PaR nz Points system where handicaps change daily. Daily scores of each pair contribute to the overall scores. Maximum start handicaps apply - men (28), women (36).
  • For the draws each day you will play with your partner but we will mix up the tee groups so you get to meet other golfers.
  • Fun daily and overall prizes are awarded

When is the first function?

  • The first official function of the 2026 Fiji Golf Invitational is the Welcome Function at the Fiji Marriott Momi Bay Resort 5:30pm - 7:30pm on Saturday 20 June 2026. 

When is the final function?

  • The final official function of the 2026 Fiji Golf Invitational is the Farewell & Prize Giving Dinner at the Sheraton Fiji Resort from 7:00pm on Friday 26 June 2026.
  • A Theme for the Farewell & Prize Giving Dinner will be announced in April 2026.
  • Departures from Fiji can be arranged from Saturday 27 June 2026.

Can I have a practice round?

  • Yes practice tee times or extra rounds of golf have been set aside for both Natadola and Denarau Courses. Book online with entry.
