This tournament is limited to 40 players. 

Tournament Format: 
Individual Low Net Stroke Play

NOTE: Guests are welcome if space remains after Monday, May 25.

This is an individual stroke-play event. Competitors will play from the white tees and receive 95% of their Course Handicap, based on the May 25 index report.
 

All putts must be holed; there are no "gimmes." Ties will be decided by matching scorecards (with handicaps) using the USGA "Back Nine" tie-breaking system. If players are still tied, the winner will be decided by a coin toss.

This is also a Club Qualifier for the NCGA Associate Club Sr. Four-Ball Championship. Six seniors will qualify and represent the Sunol Valley Men's Golf Club at the NCGA local qualifying tournament, to be held on a selected day between July 27 and August 6, 2026, at a site TBD. A maximum handicap of 18.5 will be in effect for club qualifying, though players will stroke off their full index for awards. The top 2 qualifying senior members will receive paid entry, while the next four individual low net scores will qualify. To qualify, seniors must have reached their 55th birthday on or before August 31, 2026.

Member and guest fees are $100 and include green fees, carts, and the prize fund. The closest to the Pin on all par-3 holes will also be awarded. Optional scratch-and-handicap Skins games will be available in the A/B format for $20 each.
