The Zone 3 Junior Spring Tour now offers 2 Divisions for kids to play

 

CHAMPIONSHIP DIV.

• Low Gross Scoring

• Longer Tees (ie. Blue)

• Order of Merit points awarded. - Top 2 point winners receive exemption into BC Jrs. & Zone 3 Team.

• Recommended for:

  • Elite players

  • Older & stronger players

  • Players wanting to play in Provincial Championships or College Scholarship Opportunities

  • Maximum Handicap Index 12.0 (recommended)

 

NOVICE DIV. (NEW)

• Net Stableford Scoring (Point scoring system)

• Shorter Tees (ie. Red or shorter)

• Recommended for:

  • Younger or smaller players (ages 10 + recommended)

  • New, Casual, or Recreational players

  • Higher Handicap Players

 

Divisions are NOT Gender Specific. 

• Girls playing in the Novice Division should expect to play the same tees as the Boys.  Net scoring system used, so girls can expect handicap adjustments and allowances.

• Girls playing in the Championship Division can expect to play a slightly shorter course than the Boys.  Tees TBD based on the golf course.  (ie. White)

 

Each event is 18 Holes.  Players should be strong enough to walk and carry/push their own clubs.  Sorry, No Caddy's allowed.
