Welcome to the NUGC 2026 Competitions Bundle.

In an attempt to continue to increase participation in County Events in 2026, the County Executive have again agreed to continue with a package which guarantees entry to all 4 of the Scratch events held. These being, The North & South Trophy, The County Strokeplay, The County Champonship and the Fenwick-Smith Trophy.

The entry fee is £85 for the 4 events and sees a saving of £20. 

This entry fee must be paid by no later than 31 January 2026 and is strictly non-refundable.

Entry to the Scratch County Competitions is is limited to players with a Handicap Index not exceeding 7.4 at time of booking. 

Signing up to this package deal by 31 January 2026 will guarantee your place in all 4 events, avoiding any potential ballots, which are outlined in the Terms of Competition for each event.

Entrance fee of £85 must be paid at time of entry. If you have any difficulties with entry please contact the secretary by clicking on the help button on the right.

Decision Making Sub- Group: In the event that there are any issues which occur in advance or on the day of an event- a decision-making sub group will consider appropriate actions and advise Competitors should there be a need to change the Terms of Competition at short notice.
 

ELIGIBILITY: Players must have been born in Northumberland or be a member of an affiliated Northumberland Club and have not played in a Championship of another County the same year and be an affiliated member of a golf club. 

DRESS: Competitors wearing Jeans, Tee Shirts, or Non-Golf Shoes will not be allowed to play and the dress rules of the Host Club will apply.

BUGGIES: No sit on buggies permitted unless over 80 years of age or with a medical certificate showing an inability to walk 36 holes and buggies must be permitted by the Host Club.

ENTRIES: Entries close on Saturday 31 January 2026.

NO ENTRY FEE will be refunded once entries are closed.
