LOCAL COURSE RULES

 

- No football club clothing permitted

- All bunkers are in play and must be played as a hazard kick.

- All bunkers are to be raked  - failure to attempt to smooth footprints will result in a 1 stroke penalty, groups are to keep on top of this. SEE EXCEPTION BELOW

 

INDIVIUDAL HOLE RULES & INFORMATION

 

Holes 1&2

Hole 1's pin position is now the other side of the ditch. Players about to play their shots over the ditch on hole 1 MUST allow the group in front to have teed off before playing these shots. The last player to play on both of these holes must walk to the other side of the ditch to stop any balls from becoming lost; this is MANDATORY for every flight to do this.

 

Hole 2

Any ball which hits the cup or flag for hole 1, you can either retake your shot for no penalty or play the ball as it lies. 

 

For any tee shot which runs beyond the yellow hazard stakes on the right hand side near hole 1's green, there is a MANDATORY drop zone sprayed beyond the path on the right hand side where you must play your next shot from +1 penalty stroke. If your ball goes in to the ditch on the left hand side you are to use the normal footgolf rules for this situation and CANNOT use the drop zone. 

 

Hole 4

No shots can be played from the conservation areas on the course, these are marked by white stakes with a green top. If entered play must continue from the drop zone with a +1 penalty. 

 

There is an optional drop box for Ladies, Over 55's & Junior ONLY situated the other side of the ditch. If you decide to go to the drop zone if you haven't been able to clear the ditch then you are to add +1 to your score. You can go straight to the drop box from the tee but you will then be playing your third shot. 

 

Hole 5

The bunkers on Hole 5 are to be played as waste bunkers. Meaning players can run in them if a player would like to. No hazard kick required.

 

Hole 9

When completing Hole 9 please try to walk back up the hill on the higher side to allow the group behind you to tee off unimpeded. 

 
Hole 12 -

You must wait for the group in front to have completed the hole before teeing off.

 

PRACTICE INFO ONLY - There are two tee positions for this hole, the one at the top of the hill is marked out with the tee markers. The 2nd tee position is situation down the hill an on to the tee box down to the left hand side. These tees may alternate between rounds.

 

Hole 14:

There is a mandatory drop zone in place for players who go to the right down the embankment onto hole 3 or 4's fairways from the tee shot for an added +1 shot. Please note the out of bounds line is very clearly sprayed with white paint and is much closer to the fairway than the bottom of the slope as has been in previous years.  

 

Hole 15: 

There is NO drop zone on this hole. If your ball goes right down the embankment onto hole 3 or 4's fairways from any shot, you must return to the previous kick with a +1 penalty. Please note the out of bounds line is very clearly sprayed with white paint and is much closer to the fairway than the bottom of the slope as has been in previous years.  

 

Hole 17 & 18:

The tee box is shared for these holes. The group teeing off for hole 18 has priority for teeing off.

Scorecards

 

- The full group must check and agree to all the scores on the scorecards before handing it in, by performing a check after the 18th hole, making sure each player's card is correct and matches that shown on the app.
