The Junior WNYPGA Section Championship welcomes junior players who reside within the WNYPGA Section boundaries to compete. This is a premier event to name a Boys' and Girls' Section Champion who will represent the WNY PGA Section as they advance to the national

Junior PGA Championships to be held at Fields Ranch East & West, Frisco, Texas - July 28-31, 2026

 

Players compete in an open field 36 hole stroke play event at Glen Oak Golf Course, East Amherst, NY

Open field = no age divisions

 

Field size limited to:  64 players (12 girls & 36 boys) with a wait list for both divisions

 

Players must be eighteen (18) years of age or younger on the final day of the National Championship (July 31, 2026)

 

Our Champions in each division will represent the WNYPGA Section at the National Championship.  It is possible that the runner-up in each division will also advance IF there are a minimum of 12 girls and 24 boys in the qualiying field that start Round 1 by teeing off.

 

Play will be governed by USGA Rules
