USGA Rules will govern all play
** It is recommended that each player has a hard copy of the USGA Rules book with them, or the USGA Rules app on their phone.

Round 1 - Saturday June 27, 2026
Round 2 - Sunday June 28, 2026
** Please note, Stipulated 9’s will be in effect in the event of time constrictions or weather related/delay on the affected day(s) . Each day will be specified as 2 nine hole rounds: if both 9-hole rounds cannot be completed due to weather/darkness and everyone has completed at least the first 9-holes, the second 9-holes will be canceled, and the tournament will be based on the scores from the first 9-hole round.

Girls Division(WNY field 8 GIRLS): Champion only (anticipated)

Players should report to the registration table near the Golf Shop to sign-in each day. Players will receive their tee gift (Day #1) and a token for range balls (Day #1 & #2), compliments of Lou Devito, Sales Representative, Your Leaderboard & Johnnie O. apparel.
Players should report to the 1st tee 10 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time to receive last minute instructions and information for play.
USGA Pace of Play Policy, as outlined in Rule 5.6b
The Rule aims to ensure a reasonable time frame for completing an 18-hole round. For this event a reasonable pace of play will be 4 hours 30 minutes OR no significant gaps between pairings.
Groups will receive a warning for exceeding the allotted time OR falling out of position with the group in front of them and not catching up in a reasonable timeframe. Subsequent offenses will result in a one-stroke penalty, followed by a two-stroke penalty, etc. and ultimately disqualification if the violations persist.
Players are encouraged to participate in “Out of Turn Play” as USGA Rules allow and encourage playing out of turn (ready golf safely) in stroke play (for convenience or to save time). Players should take no more than 40 seconds to complete a shot.
USGA Rules Officials & WNYPGA Section staff will be monitoring and enforcing pace of play.
Use of distance devices that DO NOT provide SLOPE will be allowed.
Caddies ARE NOT permitted for this event.
Spectators are welcome to support their player under the following conditions:
Spectators will need to sign-in at the 1st tee with their player
Those walking should stay a shot ahead and in the rough.
Those riding in a cart should remain on the path where available or a shot ahead in the rough if not available.
At no time should spectators be walking alongside a player.
Spectators are NOT to act as coaches, caddies, rules officials or referees.
Spectator interference will be monitored by Rules Officials & Section staff. Infractions will be handled accordingly. WNYPGA Staff, Rules Officials, & Glen Oak Staff have the right to ask a spectator to leave the premises.
Spectators are asked to refrain from alcohol consumption and/or smoking of any kind while spectating as we want to promote a healthy competition for our players.
Spectators are encouraged to keep a watchful eye on stray golfballs for the entire pairing, but should offer no advice other than location of the golfball.
Spectators should allow players to handle all situations while competing on their own.
Spectators are encouraged to support all players in a positive manner.
Mobile Scoring through the Golf Genius app, is the preferred method of scoring for this event. However, all competitors are strongly encouraged to also keep score on a traditional scorecard in the event a cell phone is lost, battery dies, Wifi is insufficient, etc. We also understand that not all competitors may have a cell phone.
** Players will need their GG Id for each round
** Spectators ARE NOT to keep score for their competitor.
** Please note, that if mobile scoring is not used by a player or group, they will not appear on the leaderboard until the end of round when scores are entered at the score table.
Sunday’s pairings will be based on Saturday’s scores, with the highest scores within a division going out first.
In the event there is a need for a playoff to determine Champion and/or At-Large Bid it will occur immediately after the final round, once the final pairing’s scores have been verified. We will use the USGA SUDDEN DEATH playoff scenario, beginning on Hole #1 and continuing as needed until a winner is determined, playing from the appropriate tee for that division.
Trophy presentation to be held immediately following play or sudden death is completed.
Players should review all information provided within the Event Portal, under all the tabs, and share with their spectators. In the event of any update/changes, please be watchful of your email and text messages.
We wish the best of luck to all of our players and remember to have fun!
