Presentation of Prizes approx. 20 minutes after conclusion of play. 

Format

18 Holes Stroke Play 

Tees

Play will be from the White Tees

Players can book one complimentary practice round through the Pro Shop at Bunclody Golf Club.  A limited number of tee times are reserved between 2:30-3:30pm on Saturday and Sunday afternoon for Players travelling outside of Leinster which must be booked in advance. Other players will be facilitated in the run up to the event by contacting the Pro Shop in advance.

Please note that entry into the Championship confers no other rights to access the facilities of  Bunclody Golf Club, except on terms provided by the Club and in this instance by prior arrangement. Any entrant attempting to access the facilities without prior permission of  the club will have their entry from the championship withdrawn without a refund. 

Any additional practice rounds at expense of player and subject to availability at the course, €40 special rate for additional practice.

Draw  

The Draw for the Championship will be published seven days before the event is due to commence.  

Anyone who is included in the Starting List will be included in the Championship Draw accordingly.  

Withdrawals  

The Golf Ireland Withdrawals Policy will apply and players wishing to withdraw must email teresathompson@golfireland.ie 
 

Withdrawals Policy per Regulation 4.1d - The draw for all Championships will be released seven days before the Championship, after which time no refunds will be given in any circumstances. Withdrawals prior to the publication of the draw shall have 75% of their entry fee refunded.

Registration  

Players must check-in with the Golf Ireland Admin Office located off the main foyer of the clubhouse at least 30 minutes before their assigned tee time. Players are requested to return to this area immediately following their round to verify their scores with their group and a Golf Ireland official. 

Local Rules  

Golf Ireland Hard Card is in operation and can be obtained from Championship Player Information. Any additional Local Rules will be issued in advance.

Practice facilities  

Practice range featuring 10 bays open from 7am - 8pm. Practice balls available to purchase from €3 - €8. Tap bank card or coins accepted. Short game and Putting green available – players to provide their own golf balls. No chipping allowed on to putting green. 

Pull trollies (€4) and 18 Electric trollies available (€15) to hire.

Ties

Ties for first place in the Championship will be decided by an 18 Hole countback. i.e 18 hole tie, it will be decided on last 9,6,3,1 holes. If still a tie, decide on last 3,6,7,8 of first 9 holes. If still a tie, decided by lot.

Sand bags must be used by all players - Referees will be monitoring usage throughout the course.
Towels are available for showering €4
Yardage books €5

Hole 14 - players are requested to walk on the buggy path for safety near the tee box.
