Fairway Legends Junior Golf Tour (FLJGT)
Late Arrival, No-Show & Cancellation Policy
This policy is designed to ensure fairness, smooth event operations, and respect for fellow competitors.
By entering an FLJGT event, all players and parents/guardians agree to the following:
1. Arrival & Registration

Players are expected to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before their tee time.

Check-in must be completed at the FL Help Desk prior to play.

Late arrival disrupts the event schedule and affects other competitors.
2. Late Arrival Policy

Players arriving after their published tee time may:
-
Be moved to a later tee time if space allows
-
Be required to join another group
-
Receive penalty strokes in accordance with the R&A Rules of Golf
-

If a player arrives too late to be accommodated without delaying the field, they may be withdrawn from the event.
Entry fees will not be refunded in cases of late arrival.
3. No-Show Policy
A No-Show is defined as:

Failure to attend the event without notifying Fairway Legends in advance
-
Failure to check in at the FL Help Desk
-
Arrival so late that participation is no longer possible
No-Show Consequences
-
Entry fees are non-refundable
-
The player may:
-
Receive a warning
-
Lose priority entry for future events
-
Be refused entry to future FLJGT events in cases of repeated no-shows
-
4. Cancellation Policy
Player Cancellations

Cancellations must be made via:
-
Email to Fairway Legends, or
-
The official booking platform (Golf Genius / Spond)

Cancellations made:
-
7+ days before the event → Entry may be transferred or credited (at FLJGT discretion)
-
Less than 7 days before the event → Entry fee is non-refundable

Exceptional Circumstances
FLJGT understands that genuine situations can arise.
Consideration may be given (at FLJGT discretion) for:

Medical emergencies
-
Injury supported by medical advice
-
Family emergencies
5. Event Changes & Weather

FLJGT reserves the right to:
-
Modify tee times
-
Change formats
-
Delay, shorten, or suspend play due to weather or safety concerns

In the event of cancellation due to weather or course closure:

Entry fees may be transferred or credited
-
Refunds are not guaranteed and remain at FLJGT discretion

6. Withdrawals During Play

Players who withdraw after starting play must inform an FL Tour Official immediately.

Withdrawals without valid reason may be recorded as a WD and could affect future entry eligibility.
7. Respect for the Tour
Late arrivals, no-shows, and last-minute cancellations:

Affect fellow competitors
-
Disrupt scheduling
-
Impact host venues and staff

8. Acceptance
By entering an FLJGT event or holding a season ticket, you confirm acceptance of this Late Arrival, No-Show & Cancellation Policy.
