Tournament Format
Professionals
18-Hole Individual Stroke Play
Men Under 65: Blue Tees
Men 65 and Over: White Tees
Women: Yellow Tees
Juniors
3-Person Scramble
Male 12 & Under: Yellow Tees
Male 13–14: White Tees
Male 15–18: Blue Tees
Female: Yellow Tees
Team Competition
-Professionals will play their own ball for the entire 18-hole round.
-Professionals compete in an 18-hole individual stroke play event.
-Each professional must hole out on every hole and record an official individual score.
-For the team competition, the professional's score will count on any hole where it is lower than the junior scramble score.
Preferred Lies
Lakes #9 and Bridges #1
Lift, clean and place is permitted within one club length, no nearer the hole, in the closely mown area (fairway only) of the hole being played.
Junior Scramble Rules
3-Person Scramble format.
A minimum of three (3) tee shots from each junior player must be used during the round.
Players may play in any order.
Mark the selected ball before moving the remaining balls.
All players may place their ball within one club length, no nearer the hole, from the selected ball.
The ball must remain on the same type of playing surface (fairway to fairway, rough to rough, etc.).
Players may not move onto the putting green or out of a penalty area.
If the selected ball is in a bunker, the bunker may be raked and the remaining players may place their ball within one club length of the original lie, no nearer the hole.
Putting
Players may putt in any order.
The first player should mark the location of the selected ball before the remaining players putt.
Once any player's ball is holed, the hole is complete and no further putts may be attempted.
Local Rules
Railway Ties: Free relief is available if a railway tie interferes with your stance or intended swing. Determine the nearest point of complete relief, no nearer the hole, and drop the ball in accordance with the Rules of Golf.
Tree Roots: If your ball comes to rest on a tree root, you may take free relief by finding the nearest point of complete relief, no nearer the hole, and place your ball.
Bunkers: All bunkers are lift, rake and place within one club length, no nearer the hole.
Hole #6: The out of bounds stakes on Hole #6 are intended to define out of bounds for Hole #7 only and do not apply when playing Hole #6.
Rules Questions
If there is any doubt regarding a ruling:
Play two balls under the Rules of Golf.
Report the situation to the Rules Committee immediately following play.
Scorecards
Enter all scores into Golf Genius throughout the round whenever possible.
Compare the paper scorecard with the Golf Genius totals.
Return the completed scorecard to the Golf Shop immediately following play.
Professional Rules
Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf (Golf Canada/RCGA) together with the following Local Rules.
Abnormal Course Conditions
The following areas are considered abnormal course conditions:
Any area marked with white paint.
Any area roped off as Ground Under Repair (G.U.R.).
If your ball lies in one of these areas, or your stance is affected by one of these areas, relief must be taken by finding the nearest point of complete relief, no nearer the hole.
Additional Local Rules
Railway Ties: Free relief is available if a railway tie interferes with your stance or intended swing. Determine the nearest point of complete relief, no nearer the hole, and drop the ball in accordance with the Rules of Golf.
Local Rule: Tree Roots
• When a ball is at rest on or within a clearly visible tree root and the tree root interferes with the players intended swing path.

Please confirm any relief taken with the player keeping your score.
If there is uncertainty regarding relief, play two balls and request a ruling from the Rules Committee following play.
Severe Weather Procedure
ONE SIREN BLAST – Stop play immediately and leave the course or proceed to the nearest shelter.
TWO SIREN BLASTS – Resume play.
Scoring
To ensure a timely completion of results:
Enter all scores into Golf Genius.
Verify paper scorecards against the Golf Genius totals.
Return completed scorecards to the Golf Shop immediately following play.
