Rules of Match Play

 

 

• All Players will play from the designated tournament tees - Black Markers

 

• Lowest Seed Player will have honours on the starting hole.

 

• Following Round 1, we will reseed for Round 2 Consolation side ONLY.

 

• Lift - Clean - Replace within 1 club length no closer to the hole. this rule only applies to the closely mown portion of the hole you are playing (Fairway).

 

• Lift - Clean - Rake - Replace all balls that come to rest inside of a bunker. 1 Grip length no closer to the hole.

 

• Stance and swing relief may be taken from staked trees. Staked trees are identified as having man made support, meshing around the base, or wrapped in white tape. Relief is one club length from the nearest point, no closer to the hole.

 

• Out of bounds is identified by boundary fences or white stakes lining the perimeter of the property.

1 point for Bogey

2 points for Par

3 Points for Birdie

4 Points for Eagle

 

***Expected PACE of PLAY will be 4 hours 30 Minutes. All Players exceeding this time may be assessed of penalty of a stroke, loss of hole or match. Please respect your playing companions and facility***

 

***In the event of a tie, all playoff holes will start on #1 and continue till a player wins a hole outright***
