Cumberwell Park is one of the finest courses in the South West, with 45 holes and its exceptional practice facilities and is frequently used by England Golf. It would not only be a great experience, but a high level of challenge for all our golfers.
This would be the finale to the winter coaching season and we will be playing the Championship Course, and we would like to present a number of prizes for individual performances on the day.
The total cost for this trip is £15. This includes coach transport, green fee, prizes and a buffet meal after play. See below for detailed itinerary.
County boys away day to
Cumberwell Park GC on Sunday 30th March 2025
The details are as follows:
- 08:15 Depart from Sixways stadium carpark (Sixways, Warriors way, Worcester, WR3 8ZE)
- Travel to Cumberwell Park GC, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire,BA15 2PQ (estimate arrival at 09:45)
- 10:00 to 10:45 – Long and short game practice
- 10:45 to 15:30 – 18 holes Golf on the Championship Course (England Golf Championship venue)
- 15:30 to 16:45 – Buffet (sandwiches & Chips), Prize giving and closing words.
- 17:00 Depart from Cumberwell Park
- 18:30 Arrive back at Sixways stadium ready for collection (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes after departure)
County officials in attendance:

What to wear: Normal County Kit (if you have it, otherwise normal golf attire) and bring extra warm clothing and waterproofs, hats, etc. (depending on the weather). Change of shoes for the clubhouse.
What to bring: Golf carry bags or trolley bags only (NO TROLLEYS – pull trolleys will be available to hire at the club) some spending money, packed lunch and on course nutrition (e.g. sandwiches, energy bars, drink) as well as for the journey home.
