Anderson claims fourth Berks Amateur win!
Lampley captures Stableford title
With a final round 67, four under par, Josh Anderson won his fourth Berks Amateur Championship at Berkshire Country Club. Josh finished at 135, seven under par for the 36-hole event.
Anderson got off to a hot start with birdies on five of his first six holes. From that point, he made 12 consecutive pars.
James Furness placed second, two strokes behind, with rounds of 66-71 for a 137 total. Chris Fieger, Jr., the defending champion, had the day’s best round, a five-under-par 66, good for third place, one stroke behind Furness. Fieger’s round featured an eagle 3 on the first hole.
Joel Lampley won the points flight championship with 64 points, three better than Charlie Bross.
