LOCAL COURSE RULES & IMPORTANT COURSE INFORMATION

 

Hole 1

If your ball fails to go beyond the road, you can either return to your tee shot or go to the drop zone which is the women's tee box. Both instances results in a +1 penalty

 

Hole 6 

If your ball comes to rest left of the path to Hole 5's green this is deemed to be OOB and as a result players must take their next shot from the Drop Zone (Ladies / Over 55s Tee) with a +1 penalty.

 

Hole 9

If your ball comes to rest on the golf green, you cannot play your ball from here. Players must take their ball to the nearest point of relief off of the golf green to the fringe and play their shot from there. Any player playing from this golf green will result in a +1 penalty. 

 

Hole 13

There is an area of GUR clearly marked out on the fairway. You cannot play your ball or run up in this area. If your ball and/or stance ends up in the GUR then you are to take your nearest point of relief from this area + 2 meters (not closer to the hole). No penalty stroke is applied to this. Any player who breaks this rule are to receive a 1 shot penalty and must return to play the shot correctly. 

 

Hole 14

When finishing the hole, players must walk through the gap in the wall to the golf tee box and up the hill from here to keep play flowing.

Holes 16-17

Players must walk to the left hand side of the golf green up to the path with the black and white pole.

 

Hole 18 (PAR 3 SETUP ONLY)

Let players tee off on hole 1 first if there is a group there.

 

Hole 18 (PAR 5 SETUP ONLY)

The out of bound stakes on the right hand side are NOT in play. The white stakes can be removed for your shot but must be replaced after you have taken your shot. If your ball runs off the fairway and on/beyond the road then you must use the drop box (tee box on left hand side) for your next shot +1 penalty. 
 

GOLF GREENS:

Unless playing a shot, players are required to not walk on golf greens. This is to protect the greens, course condition & aid drainage.

 

HOLE CUPS:

Players are not allowed to step inside any hole cups. Any player who breaks this rule will receive: 1st instance = +1 stroke penalty, 2nd instance = DQ

 

PRACTICE PUTTING GREEN OUTSIDE CLUBHOUSE: 

Players are not to under any circumstance walk, stand or practice any shots on the practice putting green outside the clubhouse. Any player who breaks this rule will receive: 1st instance = +1 stroke penalty, 2nd instance = DQ. (This includes before, during and after any rounds.) 

 

ALL 27 HOLES MUST BE PLAYED CONSECUTIVELY, R1 PAPER SOCRECARD AND APP MUST MATCH AFTER 18 HOLES.
