3rd GAM Girls' Championship

The GAM Girls' Championship aims to bring together top female juniors for a 36-hole stroke-play competition at Spring Meadows CC in Linden.

 

Who: Entries are open to all female amateur golfers who have not yet reached their 19th birthday by the final day of scheduled competition, have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 25.4 at the time the player’s entry is received by GAM, and are residents of Michigan or are members of a GAM Member Club at the time of entry.

 

When: Saturday, April 25, 2026 - Sunday, April 26, 2026

 

Where: Spring Meadows CC

 

Format: 36-Hole, Stroke Play Competition

 

Registration Opens: Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM

 

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM

 

Entry Fee: $120

 

Exempt Registration Criteria: Players who meet the following criteria and all the tournament eligibility requirements will have exempt registration status, allowing them to sign up for this tournament two weeks before the full registration opening date of Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM. After Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM, the players will no longer have a guaranteed spot in the field. Players on the exempt registration list pay the full entry fee.

 

  • Top 10 on any of the 2025 GAM Girls' Junior Player of the Year Points lists.
  • Champion or Runner-Up in a 2025 GAM Girls Junior Championship*
    • * - Excludes stroke-play competitions with 9-hole rounds.
    • * - Includes stroke-play portion Michigan Girls' Junior State Amateur Championship

 

GAM Foundation Junior Tournament Player Grants: The Golf Association of Michigan Foundation offers need-based financial grants to select junior golfers participating in GAM Championships. Grants are awarded through an application process that considers family financial needs and other factors contributing to funding gaps for competitive golf-related expenses. Team Michigan: This competition is eligible for Team Michigan points, meaning participating athletes ages 13-18 can earn points toward Team Michigan rankings, qualification standings, and season totals according to the selection criteria decided by the committee.
