2026 Wednesday League

 

 

 

Season: March 25th -- October 7th 

 

League Dues: $60 due at registration.  Dues will be paid back to weekly winners.

 

Divisions: We will have a TEE TIME DIVISION (you play during the day) and a SHOTGUN DIVISION (you play at 5:30 pm). You will be competing against your selected division. The Shotgun Division will be capped at 72 players.

 

Sign-Up: All golfers must sign up each week, unless you have a standing tee time/pairing.  If you sign-up for a standing tee time you will need to cancel if you cannot play.

 

Check-In: All golfers must check in at the pro shop.  You will be responsible for paying the appropriate green fee/cart fee each week.

 

Pairings:  Weekly sign-up will be emailed every Monday morning. Pairings can be found on this site. Please call and cancel your tee time if you are unable to play at any point.  

 

Standing Tee Times:   All players in your standing tee time group must be a member of the Wednesday League. Please contact Ashlyn or Penny to cancel your tee time if you are unable to play.

 

Divisions: The Tee Time Division will score for 18-holes and the Shotgun division will score based on 9-holes.  Sign-in to the Golf Genius app to access each week's scorecard.  A paper scorecard may be turned in to Ashlyn if you have any online scoring issues.

 

Scores: You can log in to the Golf Genius app with your email and password to enter scores and view leaderboard. 

 

Games: Each week will be a different game.  If you wish to play, but not score please let us know. 

 

Rules: USGA rules will apply. We will play the ball as it lies unless the game allows otherwise. Unplayable lie allow you to move the ball two club lengths, no nearer to the hole, with a 1 stroke penalty.  All native areas are played as a penalty area and not a lost ball. We will use the local rule for out of bounds balls (ex: if you hit your drive OB, drop on edge of fairway in line with where the ball went OB, hitting 4)

 

Pace of Play: Play ready golf!

 

Tees: All men under 50 and golf professionals will play from the blue tees.

          Men 50-64 will play from the white tees.

          Men 65-79 and women will play red tees.

          Men 80+ will play the gold tees.

          Anyone may choose to play up (play from longer tees).

 

Handicap: Handicaps are not required, however, you must have a current GHIN handicap to participate in any net games/winnings. To sign-up for a handicap, click here:  https://cypressridgegc.com/handicap-sign-up/

 

Results: Results can be found on this site and will be emailed out. 

 

Payouts: Winners will be paid out in golf shop credit. Credits can be used for merchandise in the pro shop. Credits expire at the end of the year.
