Capital City Championship (2-Day Event)

REGISTRATION HANDICAP RESTRICTIONS: For the first 48 hours starting on March 10th at 9am, registration is limited to Boys with a current handicap index of 5.0 or lower and Girls with a current handicap index of 15.0 or lower. After 48 hours, handicap restrictions will be removed and all players will be eligible to sign up.

FIELD SIZE: There are 24 open spots available in each age division for this event through March 23rd. Starting March 24th, the division limits will be dropped and it will be open registration until the overall field max is met.

DATE: Monday, July 13, 2026 - Tuesday, July 14, 2026

REGISTRATION: Check in is available no more than 1 hour prior to your tee time.

PRACTICE AREAS: The practice facilities will be available before your tee time. Selling/price of range balls is at the course's discretion. You must check in before using the practice facilities. 

CADDIES: All players must walk and carry their own bag or use a pull cart. Caddies are prohibited (spectators are allowed and encouraged).

RANGEFINDERS: The use of Distance Measuring Devices is permitted. (Rule 4.3)

GOLF BALLS: Only brands of golf balls on the most current USGA List of Conforming Golf Balls may be used. 

STARTING TIMES: This event will have tee times starting at 7:30 am both days. Starting times can be obtained by going to the PAIRINGS tab on top of this page. Starting times for day 2 will be adjusted based on day 1 results with the lowest scores starting latest in each division and age division order will flip for day 2. 

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation is prohibited during the round. Players shall walk at all times during the stipulated round unless otherwise specified by the Committee. Pull/push carts are permitted.

FOOD & BEVERAGE: Food and Beverage operations will be at the discretion of the host facility. Be prepared for "cash only" or "card only" payments.

AWARDS: An awards presentation will take place on day 2 at Highlands GC upon completion of play for each division. The top three finishers in each age division will receive recognition.

SCORING: Individual Stroke Play, MAX SCORE POLICY IS NOT IN PLAY

SEASON POINTS: This event is worth 1.5x the points of regular tour events. 

NGA POINT SYSTEM: This event will go towards the NGA Point Standing & Evaluation System. For more info, click HERE.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: If every player within a division does not complete all 18 holes in either round 1 or 2, scores will revert to the first 9 holes. If less than 9 holes are completed, the round does not count. Players will get a full refund if less than 18 holes are completed over the 2 days.
