The GAM Senior Match Play heads to Flint GC for 2026.  Entry fee includes use of the driving range before play, use of a cart, and lunch on the first day of the competition. After one round of stroke-play qualifying, the field will be sized down to the low 32 Seniors and low 16 Super Seniors left to battle it out in match play.

Who: Entries are open to all GAM members who: (1) have an up-to-date WHS Handicap Index at the time of entry not exceeding 7.4, and (2) will have reached their 55th birthday before the first day of the tournament. Entries are subject to rejection at any time, including during the Championship.

Format: 18-Holes of Stroke Play Qualifying, Low 32 Seniors and Low 16 Super Seniors advance to match play

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

June 8 – 18 holes, stroke play; the low 32 Senior Players qualify for Match Play & Low 16 Super Senior Players qualify for Super Senior Match Play Division 

Match Play: General numerical USGA draw shall be used. The stipulated round shall be extended to as many holes as required for a match to be won.

June 9: Morning – 16 Matches for Senior Division & 8 Matches for Super Senior Division
June 9: Afternoon – 8 Matches for Senior Division

June 10: Morning – 4 Matches for each Division
June 10: Afternoon – 2 Semifinal Matches for each Division

June 11: Morning – Final Match for each Division

The following players may register for the tournament starting two weeks before the standard registration opens on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM, based on the criteria below.

 

After 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, these players will no longer have a reserved spot on the field. Players on the Exempt Registration List pay the full entry fee and are subject to all other entry requirements.
