Thank you for registering for the AmateurGolf.com Pacific Grove City Championship, presented by Callaway Golf.
The weekend of February 21-22, 2026 is going to provide us with a chance to see what players in all three divisions can post individually at the course affectionately known as "The Poor Man's Pebble Beach". Don't be fooled by the 5727-yard total length; PG has some challenging holes, especially par-3s like Nos. 2 and 9. The front nine winds through the quaint village of Pacific Grove, and then it's off to the Jack Neville-designed back nine with gorgeous views of the Pacific and the Par-5 12th teeing off right next to the 17-mile drive with waves crashing on the rocks. Enough drama, let's talk details.
TOURNAMENT PORTAL
Pairings and results will be available on this Golf Genius portal. We will have pairings for you no later than Friday, February 13. Tee times each day will be from 7:30am - 9:30am off the #1 and #10 tees. As always, it will be very important to maintain a brisk pace of play.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
To make tee time for practice rounds you can call the pro shop at (831) 648-5775 or the online portal at playpacificgrove.com. Monday - Thursday $66 walking / $91 riding, Friday- Sunday $89 walking / $114 riding
ON-SITE FOOD OPTIONS
There will be no sit-down hot food options available at the course. However, there will be snacks and drinks (Water, Gatorade, Soda) for sale in the pro shop.
SCORING
All scoring will be electronic using Golf Genius. I encourage you to download the app if you don't have it already. Each group will be given a unique GGID to use when entering scores and we will verify at the scoring table after the round.
FORMAT
36 holes of individual Stroke Play. Championship and Senior Championship Divisions played at scratch. Net Division played with full Course Handicaps at a maximum index of 18.0.
TEE MARKERS
MENS DIVISIONS: Blue, WOMENS DIVISIONS: Red
SUBDIVISIONS
MID-AM (subdivision of Championship)
For players age 25-49. Compete alongside the younger players in the Championship Division, (same tees, same prize opportunities) and if there are at least six Mid-Ams, a separate prize and trophy will be awarded.
SUPER SENIORS (subdivision of Senior)
For players age 65+. Compete alongside the younger senior players in the Senior Division, (same tees, same prize opportunities) and if there are at least six players 65 or over, a separate prize and trophy will be awarded for low super senior.
WOMEN (subdivision of Championship)
Will play in the Championship Division but from a shorter tee; if there are at least six women in the field, a separate prize and trophy will be awarded. Net players will play in the Net Division but from a shorter tee.
SCORE POSTING
We will post scores to GHIN after each round.
MAXIMUM SCORE
Net Division Only -- maximum of gross triple bogey is allowed on any hole.
CADDIES/CARTS
Players may walk and carry, take a push/pull cart, bring a caddie, or ride in a golf cart (at the player's expense). Players opting to ride in a cart must share a cart.

WITHDRAWALS
Per the refund policy agreed to during registration:
- More than 21 days prior to the first round: Full refund less a $75
- 7-21 days prior to the first round: 50% credit of the entry fee.
- Less than 7 days prior to the first round: No refunds are provided.
- A wait list does not change the refund policy.
We'll use email to communicate any weather issues or other last-minute changes.
