29th New England Senior Amateur Championship

Practice Round Information: Please read the full practice round note below prior to contacting Baker Hill. 

 

  • Practice rounds will be available subject to club availability in the weeks leading up to the Championship. 
  • A practice round can be booked by contacting the Pro Shop (603-763-8900) and identifying yourself as a competitor in the field. 
  • Players should play the Black/White combo tees (approx. 6,400 yards - Par 72) during their practice round for the most similar Championship yardages. 
  • Guests are not permitted to play during practice rounds, and players will be paired up with other practice round competitors as necessary. 
  • The cost of a practice round is a mandatory cart/trail fee of $75. 
  • Practice rounds may be limited on Monday, September 14th, so please plan to book an earlier date if available. 

 

Format: Competition will be 36-holes stroke play over two days. The Championship does not have a cut unless it becomes necessary due to weather. 
 
Caddies & Automotive Transportation: Players shall be permitted to use automotive transportation (golf carts) during play. The cost of cart transportation is included in the entry fee for all competitors. Players may use caddies during play. A player is not required to employ a caddie for any round of the competition. Please Note: The NEGA does NOT permit the use of more than two golf carts per group. Players may be required to share a cart, and the availability of a seat in a golf cart for a caddy is not guaranteed. 

Food/Beverage: The NEGA will be providing a complimentary luncheon on September 15th for all players. Food & Beverage is available for purchase on the final day of the competition. 

Starting Times: Championship Starting Times & Player Information can be found by clicking the "Pairings & Starting Times" link above. Round 2 pairings and starting times will be made based on Round 1 scores, and will be distributed to players after round 1 has been completed. 


Inclement Weather/Cancelled Round Stipulation: The NEGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein.

Restrictions: If the Championship course is declared unplayable and as a result it is not possible to complete the 36 holes of play in the period in which the Championship is scheduled, the Championship will not be extended beyond the last scheduled day and the winner shall be the individual who returns the lowest score for the number of stipulated rounds played. The Committee may institute a cut in order to play the last stipulated round.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy

Competitors who have submitted an entry for an NEGA event and wish to withdraw for any reason must notify the NEGA via e-mail. Refunds for qualifiers or Championships are based on the refund policy and timeline listed below. 

 

7+ Days prior to the event - Full Refund less $20 Admin Fee

2-6 Days prior to the event - 50% Refund

0 - 1 Days prior to the event - No Refund
 

For WD's received after a qualifier, but prior to the Championship Proper, refunds apply only to the "Second Half" payment for players that successfully qualified.
