You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

PRACTICE ROUND:  Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (616) 538-5050.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as Michigan Junior Amateur contestants.

 

GAM DRESS CODE: Shirts with collars and sleeves are required; however, women may wear collarless shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars.  Tank tops, tee shirts, short shorts, gym shorts, cut-offs, bathing suits, and denim pants/shorts are not permitted. Players and caddies are expected to adhere to the dress code.

 

FOOD: The clubhouse will have food available for purchase.

 

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.

 

CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Contestants must carry their own bag; caddies are not permitted. Carts are not permitted for players or spectators. Push carts may be used.

 

PRACTICE RANGE: The practice range is complimentary for players only before the round. 

 

PLAYOFF: In case of ties, there will be a playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the alternate positions. It is the player's responsibility to be present and ready to play if called for a playoff.

 

WITHDRAWAL: Prior to the entry deadline, you may withdraw via the Golf Genius Portal for this tournament. After the entry deadline, please e-mail tournaments@gam.org notice of your WD.
