GOLF COURSE INFORMATION

Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort

Now more than 20 years old and in its absolute prime, Noosa Springs remains one of the Sunshine Coast’s premier golfing experiences. Consistently rated among Australia’s finest, the Graham Papworth-designed layout features 18 holes, each with its own character, framed by lush surrounds and superb year-round conditioning.

Challenging yet enjoyable for all levels, it’s a course that rewards good shot-making — and there’s no better way to finish than with a cold drink in the clubhouse overlooking the fairways.

Maroochy River Golf Club

With iconic Mt Coolum visible on the horizon, Maroochy River is an 18-hole, par 72 championship layout and proudly recognised as a Top 100 Golf Course in Australia by the three major golfing reviewers.

A true risk-versus-reward design, each hole offers a safe route — but the bold can chase extra metres off the tee or attack a tucked pin, knowing water features, sculpted bunkers and slick green surrounds are waiting to punish the overconfident. With water in play on almost every hole, rolling fairways, striking feature walls and Mt Coolum dominating the skyline, it’s a spectacular and strategic test of golf on the Sunshine Coast.

Palmer Coolum Resort

First opened in 1988 and designed by world-renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., Palmer Coolum is one of just five Australian layouts bearing his signature. Visually striking and wonderfully diverse, the course weaves across the resort grounds with a blend of links-style holes near the ocean and classic parkland stretches framed by native melaleuca and eucalyptus.

Adding to its pedigree, Palmer Coolum proudly hosted the Australian PGA Championship from 2002 to 2012, cementing its place as one of Queensland’s most iconic championship venues.

Pelican Waters Golf Club

Originally designed by legendary architect Greg Norman, Pelican Waters is a true championship layout and one of the Sunshine Coast’s premier golfing experiences. In 2019, the course underwent a significant redesign led by Greg Norman Golf Course Design, enhancing playability, improving conditioning, and modernising the layout while maintaining its championship integrity.

This par-72 masterpiece winds through a striking coastal landscape of wetlands and waterways, with water featuring prominently throughout the round — demanding strategy, precision, and smart course management. A former host of the Queensland PGA Championship, Pelican Waters blends tour-level pedigree with a fresh, contemporary feel, delivering a memorable and visually spectacular round.
