We are excited to continue the KCC Better Ball Invitational in 2026, marking the 73rd edition of this event. As Many may know, the grounds at Kalamazoo Country Club will be under renovation this year and Gull Lake Country Club has agreed to host this year's tournament.

 

The KCC Invitational began back in 1954 and has continued every year since with some exciting players taking part in the tournament.  Davis Love III, Scott Langley, Camilo Villegas, Bubba Dickerson, Joel Dahmen, Nico Echavarria, and Joey Garber have all participated in the Invitational throughout the years. As mentioned, Gull Lake Country Club has agreed to be our host site for this 73rd edition, marking the first time this event has been played away from its original grounds.

Teams

The field is limited to 32 two-man teams with a TOTAL team handicap of 8 or less.

 

The Invitational Committee will take all registrations and meet to discuss who will make the final field. 

 

Tournament Format

2-man best ball played to scratch

 

 

Tournament Schedule

Wednesday July 15 - Member contestant shotgun followed by the welcome & Pairings dinner

Thursday July 16 - Ceremonial tee Shots & Opening round

Friday July 17 - Round 2 & 3 along with the Greenleaf Flight Round 1 & 2

Saturday July 18 - Rounds 4 & 5 / Greenleaf Flight Rounds 3 & 4

 

Specific Times will be announced at a later date.

 

 

Entry Fee - $1,500 per team
