ADDENDUM TO LOCAL RULES

Out of Bounds

Out of bounds is defined by white lines, white stakes/fence posts/outside edge of public street curbs or any combination thereof.

Ground Under Repair

May include areas of unusual damage, area of cart traffic, or seasonal conditions, but only when so declared by an authorized tournament official.

Preservation of the Course

Defined and maintained ornamental/flower beds are considered ground under repair from which play is prohibited.

Penalty Areas & Dropping Zones

Penalty Areas are marked with red lines and yellow lines. All tall grass will be played as a red penalty area. You may take proper relief if your ball enters these areas of the course. There will be drop zones on holes #2, #4 and #15. You may use these as an additional option if you enter the penalty area.

Player Transportation

Players and caddies are not allowed to use motorized transportation during stipulated rounds unless provided by a rules official.

Spectators & Coaches

Parents and spectators must stay on cart paths at least 30 yards from players at all times. They may help forecaddie and search for a lost ball, however they must leave the area without imparting any advice on how to play the ball. Spectators must remain respectful to all golfers on the course. The player is responsible for policing this policy, and the penalty for the breach of this rule is two strokes. Designated coaches must follow the current coaching advice rule that is provided by the KHSAA. Coaches should not hold up play giving advice. When it is a player’s turn to hit, any time the coach uses for further advice counts as part of the time the player took to make the stroke.
