Max Playing Handicap of 22 (before 90% adjustment)

 

2026 Format

2-Person Match Play

24 Teams of 2 | 48 players total

 

Round 1 will be round robin format. 6 groups consisting of 4 teams. Each team plays each team once, so 3 matches each.

 

The top 2 teams in each group plus 4 wildcard teams will move onto an 16 team single elimination bracket.

 

Tees

Men play Blue Tees

Women play White/Red Combo Tees

 

Handicaps

Max. playing handicap of 22. Handicaps adjusted to 90%, and will play off of the low handicap. ie... Player A has an adjusted handicap of 6, and Player B has an adjusted handicap of 14, Player A will receive 0 shots, and Player B will receive 8 shots (14 – 6 = 8)

 

Deadlines

Round 1 matches must all be completed by July 19th.

1st Place Team | $1,700 & Championship Gift

2nd Place Team | $1,200

3rd Place Team | $900

4th Place Team | $600

5th - 8th | $330 each

Total $5,720

 

Rules

All matches are governed by USGA / R&A rules and regulations, Black Mountain local rules are also in effect. See the decal on the cart windshield for a complete list of local rules.

 

*If you have not completed your match by the due date the golf shop will flip a coin to determine a winner. Upon completion of your match, please update your result on your smart phone, tablet or computer so the draw is up to date.

Normal green fee rates apply for non Black Mountain Season Pass Holders.
