Welcome to the 2026 San Francisco City Women's Championship, presented by Cobra & Fujikura.
Thank you for playing in one of the most popular and historic city championships in the country. Below is some important information for players:
SCHEDULE
For the Championship division, qualifying consists of one 18-hole stroke play round on Fri Mar 13, after which the lowest 16 scorers will be seeded accordingly in the Women's Championship Flight. Contestants with the 17th through 32nd lowest scorers will be seeded accordingly in the Juli Inkster Flight. Match play begins Sat Mar 14.
For the Senior division, qualifying will consist of one 18-hole stroke play round, from which the low 8 scorers will advance to the Women’s Senior Championship Flight. Match play begins on Sun Mar 15.
All Women's match play rounds will be played at TPC Harding Park.
Schedule:
Fri Mar 13: Stroke play qualifying, Lincoln Park
Sat Mar 14: First round of match play, Championship and Inkster/Harding Park (no Sr. Play)
Sun Mar 15: Quarterfinals round of match play, Championship and Inkster, Harding Park -- Quarterfinals of match play, Sr. Women, Harding Park
Sat Mar 21: Semi finals, Championship and Inkster, Sr Women, Harding Park.
Sun Mar 22: 36-hole Championship final, 18-hole Inkster final, 18-hole Senior final, Harding Park
STARTING TIMES
Pairings will be released to this portal no later than Friday, March 6. Play will be off the #1 and #9 tees between 7:30am and 9:30am. Match play tee times will be emailed to players as soon as possible after each round, and they will also be available at the tournament portal for SF City Match Play and on the San Francisco City tournament website.
TEES
At Lincoln Park, both divisions will be playing the White tees at ~4,900 yards; at Harding Park, both divisions will be playing the Red tees at ~5,900 yards. Exact yardages will be subject to weather and course conditions.
QUALIFYING SPOTS
For the Women's Championship, there will be exactly 16 stroke play qualifying spots into the Women's Championship match-play bracket, and exactly 16 qualifying spots into the Inkster Flight match-play bracket. For the Senior division, there will be exactly 8 stroke play qualifying spots into the Women's Senior match-play bracket.
TIE-BREAKERS
Women's Championship bracket:
A playoff will be conducted to break any tie for the final qualifying spot(s) immediately after completion of play. In the event of a playoff, a player must be present in order to retain her right to participate in the playoff.
Inkster Flight and Women's Senior brackets:
In the case of a tie for the final qualifying spot, there will be a card-off to determine who advances to match play. The card-off tiebreakers will be: holes 10-18, then if still tied holes 13-18, then holes 16-18, then hole 18.

SCORING
All scoring will be electronic using Golf Genius. We encourage you to download the app if you don't have it already. Each group will be given a unique GGID to use when entering scores and we will verify at the scoring table after the round.
SCORE POSTING
We will post scores to GHIN for the stroke play round.
PRACTICE
Practice rounds are not included in the tournament entry fee, and players must contact the golf course to arrange a practice round. Practice rounds are available at the course subject to the San Francisco City and County approved green fee rates and current reservation system requirements.
The practice area at Harding Park will open at 6:45am. There is no dedicated practice facility at Lincoln Park, please plan accordingly.
CADDIES/TRANSPORTATION
The use of carts is prohibited for players and caddies in the Women’s Championship and Inkster Flights (Appendix I – Local Rule Applies).
For the Women's Senior division, the use of carts is optional, and players may walk, use a push/pull cart, have a caddie, or ride in a golf cart. Contestants wanting to use a golf cart will be charged the appropriate fees posted at the golf course. Golf carts will be subject to course conditions at the time of play, i.e., cart path only, 90 degree rule, etc.
SPECTATOR POLICY
Please relay this policy to any spectators you may wish to bring with you to the course.
Disruptive or inappropriate behavior contrary to the good conduct of the tournament in the determination of the Committee will not be tolerated. NO SPECTATOR CARTS.
- Please remain on or near car paths wherever possible
- Please stay at least 10 paces away from putting greens and teeing areas
- Do not talk to players during the round. Any conversation could be viewed as advice
- Make sure cell phones are on silent.
- Pictures are permitted; however, do not take pictures during a player’s stroke or routine. Make sure your flash is turned off
- Keep up with the players you are following. Do not follow behind players in the fairway as you could be preventing groups from playing
