Eligibility: Players will be eligible to sign up for the Qualifier beginning Friday, May 15, 2026, at 9:00 AM through Golf Genius. The qualifier is open to the first 72 players that complete registration. A waiting list will be established based only on order of registration. Players will need an LJT Golf Genius account and an active membership with a Texas Junior Golf Alliance Partner (NTPGA or STPGA) to register / compete in the Huntington Bank Byron Nelson Junior Championship Qualifying Tournament.
Format: Qualifying is scheduled for 18 holes of individual stroke play at approximately 6,650 yards.

Playoff: Ties for the last qualifying spot will be broken by a sudden death hole-by-hole playoff. There will be no playoff for medalist honors. The playoff will begin once all scores are complete.
Pairings/Tee Time Information: Tee times will begin off No. 1 at 7:30 AM. Tee Times/Pairings will be available on May 25, 2026, and emailed out to the qualifying field.
Practice Round Information: Practice rounds ahead of the qualifier are available by calling the Cedar Crest Golf Club at (214)670-7615. Practice round rate is $25 walking and $67 riding.
Practice Facilities: The practice area at Cedar Crest GC will be available to players one hour before their starting time.
Registration Information: There is no player registration for the qualifier. Players should be at the No. 1 tee 10 minutes before their starting time.
Transportation / Caddies: Players and caddies are prohibited from riding in a cart. Caddies are permitted for the qualifier, but a parent, stepparent or legal guardian CANNOT caddie for the qualifier. All caddies must wear an LJT caddie bib that will be provided on the 1st tee.
Spectator Carts: Carts will be available for spectators during the qualifying round. Spectator carts can be purchased from the Cedar Crest golf shop at a price of $42.
Rules of Golf: Play shall be governed in accordance with the 2023 Rules of Golf of the United States Golf Association, as modified by the 2026 Legends Junior Tour Rules and Terms of the Competition card and supplemented by the Notice to Players. Questions or disputes (including equipment rulings) shall be settled by the on-site Rules Committee appointed by the Legends Junior Tour, whose decision shall be final.
Weather Cancellation: All efforts will be made to complete the qualifying round on the day of the competition. If the qualifying round cannot be completed due to weather, the four qualifying spots will be awarded through a random draw from the qualifying field list.
Withdrawal Policy: If you cannot make your qualifying round, please inform the LJT offices. If a player withdraws after the entry deadline has passed, the player will not receive a refund unless the spot is filled by a waitlisted player (See LJT Policies and Procedures).
Score Posting: Once the qualifying round has concluded, the LJT will post all tournament scores to your GHIN number.
