You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

TOURNAMENT DATE: Thursday July, 16 – Friday July, 17

PRACTICE ROUND:  Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (517) 355-1635.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Junior Stroke Play contestants.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS, the player is in breach of Rule 4-3, for which the penalty is the GENERAL PENALTY for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the round.

GAM DRESS CODE:  Shirts with collars and sleeves are required; however, women may wear collarless shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars.  Tank tops, tee shirts, short shorts, gym shorts, cut-offs, bathing suits, and denim pants/shorts are not permitted.  Players and caddies are expected to adhere to the dress code.

FOOD: Lunch will be provided for all players on the day of the tournament. Additional food and snacks will be available for purchase at the grill area. 

CADDIES/CARTS:  All players are required to walk. Contestants must carry their own bag; caddies are not permitted.  Push carts may be used.  Spectator carts are only permitted if a request is made, accompanied by a doctor’s note confirming the spectator’s need for a cart.

PRACTICE RANGE:  Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. The Driving Range is located at Forest Akers GC - East Course.

PLAYOFF: In case of ties, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following play for the final match play spot(s). 

WITHDRAWAL: If you have to withdraw before the entry deadline, please withdraw through the Golf Genius event portal. If you must withdraw after the entry deadline, please contact tournaments@gam.org. Please review the GAM Withdrawal/Refund Policy.
