OGA Junior Golf Major Championship
These multi-day competitions are tailored for more experienced players.

Eligibility:
- Must be an amateur between the ages of 8-18 as of July 9, 2026
- Must be a 2026 OGA Junior Golf Member* (*Residency requirements for OGA Junior Golf Membership)
Format: Two rounds of stroke play qualifying to determine Match Play Seeds. All players advance to Match Play beginning on Tuesday.
Entry Fee: 18-Hole Divisions - $180 / 9-Hole Divisions - $120
Division Requirements:
18 Hole Divisions:
- Boys Open (14-18) must have a handicap index of 7.0 or below at entry deadline
- Girls Open (12-18) must have a handicap index of 14.0 or below at entry deadline
- Boys 12-14 | 15-18
- Girls 12-18
9 Hole Divisions:
- Boys 8-11
- Girls 8-11
Team Points are ONLY granted in the Open Divisions
Entry Includes:
- A minimum of three rounds of competition
- Tee Prize
- Trophies to the Champion and Runner-Up in each flight
- The Champion for each division will receive an invitation to Charlotte's Tournament of Champions
- Lunch for the first 3 days ONLY
Entry Deadline: June 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM
Entries are accepted according to the date and time of entry and entry fee. Late entries will be accepted and placed on an alternate list to fill spots if they become available up until a time that the OGA Staff establishes. Late entries will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by the correct entry fee, plus an additional fee of $15. Contestants must contact the OGA in order to submit a late entry.

USGA Exemption Event:
The champions of the Boys Open Division and Girls Open Division will each receive an exemption into either the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship (Boys Open) and U.S. Girls' Junior Amateur Championship (Girls Open), respectively. Please note that the U.S. Junior Amateur exemption is for 2026 at Saucon Valley CC in Bethlehem, Pa., July 20-25. The U.S. Girls' Junior Amateur exemption is for 2027 at Canterbury Golf Club in Cleveland, Ohio, July 12-17.
