Schedule:

 

Play will be conducted over 18 weeks beginning Wednesday, 6 May 2026 and ending on 9 September 2026.

 

 

Pairings:

 

Starting times will be assigned by flight and rotate between the front and back nine each week.

 

Substitute players should be reported to the golf staff as soon as possible but must be recorded by 2pm each Wednesday.

 

A side (Team) may be represented by a single player in the event a substitute cannot replace a missing player. Late arrivals may join their side (Team) between holes at any point during the match.

 

 

Format:

 

Weekly: Net Four Ball Match Play, 90% stroke allowance

Partners play their own ball. The lower net score counts as the side’s score for each hole. The side with the lowest score wins the hole.

 

Players on any side without a USGA handicap index shall play at 0.

 

1.0 points are earned for each hole won. 0.5 points are earned for each hole halved (tied).

A side can earn a maximum of 7.0 points per round.

 

Teams will retain points won each week to determine their season standing.

 

 

Playoff Rounds:

 

Playoff rounds will begin in Week 17 (2 September 2026). Team points earned through week 16 will seed teams 1 through 4 and 5 through 8 in their respective flights.

 

Hall Flight:

Week 17: Team 1 v Team 4, Team 2 v Team 3

Week 18: Winner v Winner to determine 1^st and 2^nd, Loser v Loser to determine 3^rd and 4^th

 

Welch Flight:

Week 17: Team 1 v Team 4, Team 2 v Team 3, Team 5 v Team 8, Team 6 v Team 7

Week 18: Winners v Winners, Losers v Losers to determine final standings

 

Players are responsible for posting their own 9-hole scores (following USGA guidelines for Match Play rounds). The Committee will, from time to time, review score postings and respond accordingly, to protect the field throughout the competition.

 

Prizes/Payouts:

 

Weekly: One (1) on-course contest is available for each flight each week, awarding credit or merchandise (at the discretion of the golf staff) valued at $40 (approximate value if merchandise).

 

Season Table Credit Awards:

 

Hall Flight (9 Teams):

1^st - $380 per player, 2^nd - $300 per player, 3^rd - $220 per player, 4^th - $180 per player

 

Welch Flight (18 Teams):

1^st - $380 per player, 2^nd - $300 per player, 3^rd - $220 per player, 4^th - $180 per player, 5^th - $160 per player, 6^th - $140 per player, 7^th - $120 per player, 8^th - $100 per player

 

Posting of Scores:

 

The Golf Staff will post all eligible nine-hole scores following the completion and certification of Wednesday League rounds played. Please take care not to double-post rounds.
