Prior To The Game

1.   4 Player Teams Will Play Each Week In A 13 Week Regular Season 

               If there are any spare weeks (weather permitting) Teams will play random cross division matches)   

2.   Players Will Receive A Foursome GGID Prior The Start Of The Match

3.   1 Player Will Need To Keep Score On The Golf Genius App

4.   On The Golf Genius App The Default Men's League Tee Is Yellow

• Adjust Any Player's Tee Color When You Log In With The Foursome GGID  i.e. Someone Playing From The Blue Tees    

 

Rules Of The Game

1.   Play Will Consist Of Two Singles Matches In A 9-Hole Matchplay Format Per Foursome

2.   Handicaps Are Computed By Taking Your Current Men's League Handicap At 100%, Applied On Front Or Back.

  Card Type	Use a 9-hole scorecard if 9-hole Rating/SLOPE® provided, otherwise use an 18-hole scorecard.
  Match Play Half Strokes	No half strokes. The strokes fall as they lie. A 13 would get 7 strokes on one side and 6 strokes on the other.

3.   Handicaps Will Be Adjusted Down By The Lowest Player In Each Of The 2 Matches. 

4.   The Lower Handicap Will Play Scratch And The Higher Gets Strokes Where They Fall.

 

Team Scoring

1.   Each Singles Match Is Worth 9 Points.

2.   Each Player Can Win A Hole At 1 Point Per Hole. Tie Results In .5 Points each

3.   Each Match Ending In Tie Will Result in Split Points.  4.5 Points To 4.5 Points

4.   36 Points Team Vs. Team Are Up For Grabs Each Week.

5.   504 Points Total Will Be Awarded Each Week For The League

 

Week 14 & Week 15  Cross Division Match Play Random Drawing Team vs. Team

 

Postseason & Payouts

Tiebreakers : If there are any teams that are tied at the end of the regular season that may affect the Top 4 playoff teams.

  Ties will be settled as 

         1.  Head to Head total points by team

         2.  Player A vs Player A points in head to head matchup

         3.  Player B vs Player B points in head to head matchup

         4.  Player C vs Player C points in head to head matchup

         5.  Player D vs Player D points in head to head matchup

         6.  Coin Flip  ( Note: There will be no more than 4 Teams from each division to make the playoffs)

 

 

1.  Divisional Playoff Matches   Top 4 Teams 

         All Players A's vs each other in a 9 Hole 9 Point Match from each of top 4 teams

         All Players B's vs each other in a 9 Hole 9 Point Match from each of top 4 teams

         All Players C's vs each other in a 9 Hole 9 Point Match from each of top 4 teams

         All Players D's vs each other in a 9 Hole 9 Point Match from each of top 4 teams

2.  Championship Matches 

         Top 2 Teams from each Division from Divisional Playoff Match Play

          All Players A's vs each other in a 9 Hole 9 Point Match from each of top 2 teams in each Division of Divisional Playoff

          All Players B's vs each other in a 9 Hole 9 Point Match from each of top 2 teams in each Division of Divisional Playoff

         All Players C's vs each other in a 9 Hole 9 Point Match from each of top 2 teams in each Division of Divisional Playoff

         All Players D's vs each other in a 9 Hole 9 Point Match from each of top 2 teams in each Division of Divisional Playoff
